Nghe An province's armed forces start training in 2024
(Baonghean.vn) - In 2024, the Nghe An Provincial Armed Forces are determined to excellently carry out the combat training orders of the Commander of Military Region 4; to build a comprehensively strong Provincial Armed Forces that are "exemplary and typical".
On the morning of March 1, in Vinh city, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command held the 2024 training launch ceremony.
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Lieutenant General Thai Van Minh - Director of the Military Training Department, General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; Major General Le Hong Nhan - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of Military Region 4.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee... leaders of the Provincial Military Command; Provincial Police; Provincial Border Guard Command; provincial departments, branches, sectors, and organizations; Vinh city, Nghi Loc and Hung Nguyen districts and Cua Lo town; Vinh University, North Central Mobile Police Regiment.
At the ceremony, the representative of the Provincial Military Command thoroughly grasped the Combat Training Order of the Commander of Military Region 4. Accordingly, in 2024, the Nghe An Provincial Armed Forces will continue to thoroughly grasp and organize the implementation of Resolution No. 1659 of the Central Military Commission, Resolution No. 775 of the Party Committee of Military Region 4 on improving the quality of training in the period 2023-2030 and the following years; Order No. 26 of the Commander of Military Region 4 on military and defense tasks in 2024; Resolution of the Provincial Military Party Committee on leading the implementation of military and defense tasks in 2024.
Focus on training for subjects according to the motto "Basic, practical, solid", attach importance to synchronous and in-depth training; training close to combat reality and local situation, suitable to combat subjects and organization, training to master existing weapons and equipment; improve management quality, comply with military discipline and State laws; build a strong and comprehensive unit "Exemplary, typical".
The basic tasks and requirements are: Focus on improving the quality and effectiveness of staff work, guidance and organization of combat training tasks of commanders and agencies at all levels, maintaining order in staff training work, innovating organization and methods, improving the effectiveness of inspection work; organizing, managing and implementing scientific and strict training plans to ensure correct and sufficient content and time for each subject.
Innovate and improve the quality of competitions, sports and exercises, focusing on 3 defense area exercises in 06 districts and towns including Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh, Nam Dan, Tan Ky, Quy Hop, Hoang Mai town; flood and storm prevention and search and rescue exercises in Hung Nguyen district; command and staff exercises on maps and in the field, island defense exercises, combined round exercises with live ammunition of Battalion 41, Regiment 764 and affiliated units.
Focus on training and practicing combat readiness plans according to Command 900 of the Commander of Military Region 4, Instruction 1611 of the General Staff; practice combat plans to protect agencies and units; closely combine training with doing well the mass mobilization work, grasp the situation, avoid being passive or surprised in any situation.
Train and strictly implement Decree No. 03 of the Government, Regulation 110 of the Provincial People's Committee on coordination between the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police, Provincial Border Guard Command in performing the tasks of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, fighting and preventing crimes and national defense tasks.
Well implement Directive 79 of the Minister of National Defense and guidelines on building a comprehensively strong unit "Exemplary, typical"; strengthen inspection work, carry out the breakthrough "Improving training quality, combat readiness; building discipline, enforcing discipline and implementing grassroots democracy".
The training year starts on March 1, 2024, and ends on December 15, 2024. Of which, the training time for officers is 65 days/year; for soldiers enlisted in 2023 and 2024, it is 9 months, divided into 2 phases; units are ready for combat 16 days/month; units are both training and on duty 8 days/month.
At the ceremony, the Provincial Military Command launched the Emulation movement to win the Provincial Armed Forces in 2024, including: Emulation movement to start training in 2024, with the theme "Excellent training, strict training, high combat readiness, absolute safety", from March 1, 2024 to December 15, 2024; Peak emulation period with the theme "Following the footsteps of Dien Bien soldiers - Going forward to win 3 firsts" to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), from March 1, 2024 to May 7, 2024.
