"I decided to call up the reserve forces for military training in 2024 in the Armed Forces, the National Guard of the Russian Federation, civil defense units, emergency and disaster relief units, security protection of government bodies and federal security," Ria Novosti quoted the Russian President's decree.

According to the decree, the government and local authorities must ensure proper implementation of processes related to the income of reservists.

Military service is mandatory, legally recruited citizens for military service in the Armed Forces and other military units of Russia. This is an integral part of military recruitment.
