Announcement of the Decision to Appoint the Vice Rector of Vinh Medical University
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 6th, Vinh Medical University held a ceremony to announce the Decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel matters, appointing a Vice Rector for the university.
Attending the ceremony was Comrade Bui Dinh Long - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Also attending were leaders from several relevant departments and agencies, the Vinh City Party Committee, and other units.

Previously, on February 7, 2024, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Decision No. 316/QD-UBND on the appointment of leading and managerial officials. Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dat - Head of the Training Department, Vinh Medical University - was appointed for a term of 5 years to the position of Vice Rector of Vinh Medical University.
Presenting the appointment decision, offering flowers, and speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long, on behalf of the provincial leadership, congratulated Comrade Nguyen Quoc Dat on his appointment as Vice Rector of Vinh Medical University.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long highly appreciated the achievements of the leadership and faculty of Vinh Medical University in the past period.
Vinh Medical University is one of the medical training institutions recognized and highly appreciated by the people of the North Central region in particular and the whole country in general; the prestige and position of the university are increasingly enhanced, as evidenced by the enrollment results in recent years, trusted and chosen by many students; the quality of training is improving with many new majors opened to train at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
This achievement is thanks to the efforts of all the leaders, staff, and employees of the school. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that, in the context of development trends, Vinh Medical University needs to strive harder, continue to improve the quality of its staff, training, practice, medical examination and treatment, and scientific research, as well as international cooperation; and strengthen the connection between the school's training and Vinh Medical University Hospital, which serves as both a high-quality medical examination and treatment center and a good practice location for staff, lecturers, and students.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long expressed his hope that Dr. Nguyen Quoc Dat - the new Vice Rector - would quickly grasp the work, closely follow and inherit the valuable traditions of previous generations of leaders and staff of the school; develop his abilities and strengths, strive to complete all assigned tasks, and work with the school's leadership to strengthen internal unity; strengthen the relationship and operational mechanism of the scientific institute-school collaboration, continue to improve training, scientific research, medical examination and treatment, and enhance the position of Vinh Medical University.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long requested the leadership of Vinh Medical University to assign responsibilities and create favorable conditions for the newly appointed Vice Rector to effectively fulfill his assigned duties and responsibilities.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, the new Vice Rector of Vinh Medical University, Nguyen Quoc Dat, expressed his gratitude to the provincial leaders for entrusting him with this important responsibility, and also thanked the leadership and faculty of the university for their support and confidence in nominating and recommending him for this new position.
