More than 1,100 athletes compete at the 2024 Nghe An Provincial Business Bloc Party Sports Festival

The 21st Sports Festival of the Nghe An Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee in 2024 was organized to practically respond to the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" for the period 2021-2030 associated with celebrating major holidays and important historical events of the year.

In particular, choosing to open the Sports Festival on International Women's Day, March 8, this time also has the meaning of honoring and recognizing the contributions of female entrepreneurs, cadres, party members, and female workers working at enterprises in the entire Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee.

The sports festival is also a playground to promote, maintain and develop the movement of physical training and sports, improve the spiritual life and health of cadres, employees and workers, strengthen solidarity, exchange and learn from each other's experiences among cadres, party members and workers at enterprises in the entire Party Bloc, contributing to the completion of political tasks, Party building, national defense - security and social security in Nghe An province.

The Sports Festival of the Party Committee of Nghe An Province's Business Bloc had the participation of more than 1,100 athletes from 55 units, competing in 4 events, with the participation of 24 men's soccer teams, 35 women's volleyball teams, 9 mixed-race tug-of-war teams and 30 table tennis teams.

The sports festival is expected to close and award prizes on March 17 at Vinh University Mini Football Field./.
