Ria Novosti reported on March 10 that German journalist Julian Repke said that Ukraine placed the Patriot air defense system too close to the front, giving Russia time to attack and destroy them.

"Ukraine has placed two Patriot launchers less than 40 km from the front line, and less than 10 meters apart," said German journalist Repke.

According to journalist Repke, the air defense complexes were there long enough, creating favorable conditions for Russia to target and launch ballistic missiles, and destroy and destroy.

“There are no words!”, journalist Repke expressed anger.

Previously, on March 9, the Russian Ministry of Defense released a video recording the scene of a missile from the Iskander-M complex hitting Ukrainian equipment in the Pokrovsk region of Donetsk. According to the ministry, the attack destroyed the S-300 air defense missile system. Meanwhile, according to a defense source of Ria Novosti, among the air defense systems destroyed by the Iskander were two American Patriot air defense systems.

The last time the Russian military hit a Patriot air defense system was at the end of February. Since then, the complex's launchers, tractors, ammunition and transport vehicles have continued to be attacked by high-precision weapons.

In early February, President Zelensky announced that Ukraine had been delivered two missile shields capable of intercepting any threat, but did not disclose details.

Mr. Zelensky has repeatedly praised the Patriot air defense system transferred by the US, affirming that it is an important factor in protecting Ukraine from long-range attacks by Russia, as it can shoot down all types of missiles launched by Moscow./.
