Polish Foreign Minister Confirms NATO Troops Are in Ukraine
(Baonghean.vn)- On March 10, speaking at the Conference to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Poland becoming a NATO member, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that military personnel from NATO countries were present in Ukraine. However, Mr. Sikorsky did not specify the number of military personnel and which countries they came from.
Previously, on February 26, speaking at a conference of 20 Western countries discussing further support for Ukraine, French President Emmanuel Macron said the possibility of sending Western ground forces to Ukraine had been mentioned.

According to Mr. Macron, the participants of the conference have not reached a consensus on this issue, but such a scenario cannot be ruled out in the future. After the conference, representatives of the majority of the countries participating in the above-mentioned conference declared that they have no plans to send troops to Ukraine and even oppose participating in military operations against Russia.
Commenting on the French leader's remarks, Russian President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov stressed that if the West sends troops to Ukraine, a direct military conflict between NATO and the Russian Federation will be inevitable. Mr. Peskov added that NATO countries must be aware of this and "ask themselves whether this is in their interests or not"./.
