Criminal detention of pickup truck driver who hit police patrol car

On the evening of March 15, Hai Ba Trung District Police (Hanoi) detained Le Tien Dung (born in 1987; residing in Y Yen District, Nam Dinh) to investigate the act of resisting a person on duty.
Earlier in the afternoon of the same day, Dung drove a pickup truck with license plate number 29C-856.XX, violating the "Parking where there is a no parking sign" in front of 93 Truong Dinh (Truong Dinh ward, Hai Ba Trung district), so he was inspected and handled by the patrol team of Truong Dinh ward police.
During the working process, Dung did not comply with the request of the working group, did not present the required documents and offered money to ignore the violation but was not accepted. The subject then got into the car, started the engine and drove straight into the patrol car of the ward police and fled to Nguyen Xien street in the direction of Khuat Duy Tien. At that time, there was a woman sitting in the passenger seat in Dung's car.
On the way to escape, the subject continued to crash into a motorbike with license plate number: 34S1-223.XX and a truck with license plate number: 29H-773.XX.
Truong Dinh ward police and local residents later stopped the pickup truck 29C-856.XX on the elevated Ring Road 3.
The authorities then took Dung to the police station for investigation according to regulations.
Although Dung did not violate the alcohol concentration, he tested positive for drugs.
