Y Nhi competes in Miss World 2025
Following Miss Mai Phuong, Y Nhi is the next name chosen to 'fight' at Miss World 2025.

After the success of a series of beauty queens Do My Linh, Tieu Vy, Luong Thuy Linh, Do Thi Ha... at the Miss World arena, Miss Y Nhi is the next face to "bring the bell to strike foreign lands".
The President of the Miss World Vietnam contest - Ms. Pham Kim Dung said: "I hope everyone will support Y Nhi, the company and me in this decision. Honestly, if anyone has ever spent time alone after going through storms at such a young age, everyone will understand Y Nhi's feelings. During the past time, my team and I have worked with Y Nhi with a professional attitude, somewhat coldly and without encouragement or saying sentimental words because we want to see Y Nhi's spirit and will. I see that she is trying very hard to move forward without waiting for help, encouragement and comfort from me or the team. That is what we see to make the right decision and choose the right person".

Meanwhile, Miss Ý Nhi also expressed her joy upon receiving this information. She wrote: "Ý Nhi is extremely honored to represent Vietnam at the 72nd Miss World beauty pageant. Nhi has been cultivating her knowledge and skills with a spirit of readiness to enter the contest. Hopefully, in the upcoming journey, Ý Nhi will continue to receive attention, follow-up and support from everyone."

Huynh Tran Y Nhi was born in 2002 in Binh Dinh, she is 1.75m tall and has measurements of 84-60-94. Y Nhi was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2023 in her home country. However, just 2 weeks after winning the crown, the 22-year-old beauty was caught up in a series of scandals due to her "slip of the tongue" that forced her to apologize twice. The wave of strong criticism led to her having to "hide" for a while before leaving for Australia to study.
During her "hiding" period, Miss World Vietnam 2023 cut her hair to donate to cancer patients of the BCNV Vietnam Breast Cancer Network. After going to Australia, the beauty also worked part-time to experience life. She used all of her first salary to send back to Vietnam for charity. This helped Y Nhi gain more sympathy from the public.
