The final 3 teams participating in the EURO 2024 finals have been determined.
Early this morning (March 27), the matches in the EURO 2024 play-off round took place. In the final of Group A, the Polish team won against Wales to secure a ticket to EURO 2024. The two teams drew 0-0 after 120 minutes of play and were forced to decide the winner in a penalty shootout. Former MU player, Daniel James was the one who missed the decisive penalty, causing Wales to lose 4-5 in the penalty shootout.

In the final of Bracket B, the Ukrainian team won 2-1 against Iceland. Gudmundsson helped Iceland open the scoring in the 30th minute, but in the second half, Tsyhankov leveled the score 1-1 when the match entered the 54th minute. In the 84th minute, Chelsea player Mykhailo Mudryk scored the decisive goal to help Ukraine win as well as a ticket to EURO 2024.

In Group C, Greece lost to Georgia. The two teams drew 0-0 after 120 minutes of play. In the penalty shootout, Bakasetas and Giakoumakis of the Greek team missed their kicks. Kvekveskiri successfully kicked the decisive penalty, helping Georgia win 4-2 on penalties. Thus, the 24 teams participating in EURO 2024 have been determined. This is the first time that the Georgia team has won a ticket to the EURO finals.

Germany is the host of EURO 2024. The tournament will take place from June 14 to July 14 this year. According to the previous draw, Ukraine was placed in Group E with Belgium, Slovakia and Romania.
