Improve the quality and effectiveness of communication work on Social Insurance and Health Insurance policies.

(Baonghean.vn) - The goal in implementing the political tasks of the Vietnam Social Insurance sector is not only to increase the coverage of Social Insurance, Health Insurance, and Unemployment Insurance policies, but also to ensure the implementation of these social security policies in a more comprehensive and sustainable manner.

Communication work has always been considered by Vietnam as one of the top strategic tasks, contributing to changing social awareness, helping the Vietnam Social Insurance industry to successfully complete its assigned political tasks.

Diverse and flexible forms of communication

Resolution 96/NQ-BCS dated August 24, 2017 on innovation, improvement of quality and effectiveness of communication work on social insurance and health insurance in the new situation of the Party Executive Committee of Vietnam Social Security affirmed that communication work is a top priority task in organizing the implementation of policies and laws on social insurance and health insurance.

Communication plays an important role in attracting people and workers to participate in and benefit from social insurance and health insurance policies. Communication not only ensures publicity and transparency but also acts as a bridge between workers and policies. Innovation and improvement of the quality and effectiveness of communication work contribute to the successful implementation of the task of ensuring social security, sustainable socio-economic development, and firmly building and protecting the country in the new situation.

Mr. Hoang Van Minh - Director of Nghe An Social Insurance affirmed: In Nghe An, communication work has recently had many changes in a flexible direction, suitable to reality. Communication work in the province not only focuses on form but also ensures quality and efficiency. Specifically: In addition to coordinating with central and local press agencies to promote propaganda forms such as posting news articles, reports...; communication through grassroots radio systems, public radio; communication through media products,... Nghe An Social Insurance also diversifies direct communication forms such as small group communication, communication through conferences.

Currently, more than 90% of communes, wards and towns in the province have organized conferences to propagate, disseminate, train, consult, and have direct dialogues with local people.

The electronic information portal of the provincial Social Insurance is also one of the important communication channels, regularly updating new information on policies.

Social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance; reflect the implementation of social insurance and health insurance policies in the province in particular and the whole country in general; update the directive documents of Vietnam Social Insurance, ministries, branches, Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee and implementation guidance documents of Nghe An Provincial Social Insurance; promote the benefits of participating in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance; promote communication activities and events of the whole industry.

The provincial Social Insurance also focuses on disseminating social insurance and health insurance policies on social networking platforms such as Facebook and Zalo. Not only at the provincial level, but most of the district and town Social Insurance agencies have their own social networking pages.

With the motto that each cadre, civil servant, and employee is a propagandist, the staff and employees of Nghe An Provincial Social Insurance Agency have actively shared information and images related to the policy. Simultaneously updating cover photos and changing profile pictures on Facebook during peak propaganda campaigns to promote Social Insurance and Health Insurance policies to create a ripple effect. Thereby, contributing significantly to enhancing the image and position of the Vietnam Social Insurance industry.

Applying digital technology in communication work

Communication work on Social Insurance and Health Insurance policies is a long process, which must be carried out step by step, in accordance with specific conditions at each specific time, requiring flexibility in many factors, constantly innovating communication content and forms, and at the same time mobilizing the participation of the entire political system. In order for the Social Insurance, Health Insurance, and Unemployment Insurance policies to expand coverage and be more sustainable, and best protect people's lives, communication work will continue to be one of the key tasks of Nghe An Provincial Social Insurance in 2024 and the coming time.

In particular, one of the focuses of propaganda work in the coming time is to promote the effectiveness of modern communication methods, apply digital technology to communication activities; Research to produce modern, attractive, and accessible communication products. Thereby, contributing to bringing the policies of Social Insurance, Health Insurance, and Unemployment Insurance increasingly into life.

In March 2024: The whole province organized 671 small group communication sessions, 107 conferences to propagate Social Insurance and Health Insurance policies, 9,125 people and workers had access to policies, posted 13 news, articles, and reports on mass media, 1,135 radio broadcasts on the grassroots radio system and public radio. Propaganda work on the industry's media (via Zalo OA, Panpage, Provincial Social Insurance Electronic Information Portal) continued to be effective.
