Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nhu Khoi attended the Party meeting at the Party cell of Puc village.

Puc village is a residential village located in the West, 25 km from the center of Que Phong district. In October 2007, a historic flash flood occurred here, killing 13 people and burying dozens of hectares of rice fields. The village currently has 113 households, with 519 people; Puc village Party cell has 48 party members. In the past, implementing the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels, Puc village Party cell has mobilized people to build 32 models of raising black chickens and black pigs; done well in the model of protecting aquatic resources; and planted 21.7 hectares of rice. Puc village has also developed 20 hectares of cinnamon, and no deforestation has occurred in the area.

At the meeting, many party members contributed ideas on solutions to reduce the poverty rate; expand livestock and poultry farming models to develop the economy; preserve the cultural identity of the Thai ethnic group and strive to ensure the environment, security, order, and no drug addicts.

Talking with the Party Committee and Party members of the Puc village Party Cell, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nhu Khoi praised the achievements of the Party Cell in directing and leading the people to actively develop the economy and build a cultural life in the area. Appreciating the role and responsibility of the Party members in the Party Cell, demonstrated through the full and quality Party Cell meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also noted a number of issues that the Puc village Party Cell needs to pay attention to. That is, it is necessary to focus on reducing the poverty rate through specific actions: Strive for the Party member's family to no longer be a poor household, each Party member or 2-3 Party members join hands to help 1 poor household. The Party Cell oriented the village and hamlet to continue to perfect the conventions and village regulations to promote the role of the community in building a civilized village, preserving the traditional cultural identity of their people, towards achieving the goal of Puc village being a new rural village...

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized: The pioneering and exemplary role of each cadre and party member in the Party cell is very important. On the other hand, the Party Committee and the government of Nam Giai commune also need to continue to closely follow, guide and assist the Party cell of Puc village in all aspects, especially in orienting the content of political activities, providing guidance on production knowledge, animal husbandry, and developing household economy.

Sharing difficulties and encouraging cadres, party members and people, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi presented Puc villagers with some sports equipment and 10 million VND to install solar-powered lighting poles for the playground.

Previously, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nhu Khoi and leaders of Que Phong district visited officers and soldiers of the Puc village Border Control Station and worked with the Standing Committee of the Nam Giai commune Party Committee on the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels in the area.
