Nghe An conducts training sessions to disseminate new regulations on tourism.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 4th, the Nghe An Department of Tourism organized a training conference to disseminate new documents on tourism in 2024.

Attending the training session were Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Director of the Department of Tourism, representatives from the Provincial Police, tourism associations; representatives from the Culture departments of districts, cities, towns and tourist areas and attractions.

In his opening remarks at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Director of the Department of Tourism, stated: In 2024, Nghe An province aims to welcome a total of 5,500,000 overnight tourists (104% compared to 2023), including 120,000 international tourists (155% compared to 2023), and achieve tourism service revenue of 9,000 billion VND (115% compared to 2023).

To achieve that goal, the Department of Tourism organized a training conference to disseminate information and to discuss and address difficulties and obstacles encountered in the process of implementing state management in localities with tourism development potential.

During the one-day training session, participants received briefings on the following topics: Directive No. 08/CT-TTg dated February 23, 2024, on comprehensive, rapid, and sustainable tourism development in the coming period; the draft plan of the Provincial People's Committee to implement Directive No. 08/CT-TTg dated February 23, 2024, on comprehensive, rapid, and sustainable tourism development in the coming period; and ensuring security and order in the tourism sector.
