Gold prices hit all-time high
Gold priceToday, April 6, 2020, gold prices increased in both directions, bringing the price to 81.5 million VND/tael, world gold prices skyrocketed to an unprecedented peak.

Today's 9999 gold price is listed by DOJI at 78.90 million VND/tael for buying and 81.30 million VND/tael for selling.
At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey listed the price of SJC gold at 80.10 - 81.10 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 79.30 - 81.25 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 5:00 a.m. today, Vietnam time, was at 2,329.57 USD/ounce. Today's gold price is 37.87 USD/ounce higher than yesterday's gold price. Converted according to the current exchange rate at Vietcombank, the world gold price is about 69.272 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is still 10.228 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.
Japanese Yen Exchange Rate Recovers

At Vietcombank,Vietcombank Japanese Yen exchange rate has buying rate of 160.06 VND/JPY and selling rate of 169.41 VND/JPY, up 0.61 VND in buying and up 0.64 VND in selling.

Vietinbank, Yen exchange rate increased by 0.21 VND in buying and selling directions, equivalent to 160.47 VND/JPY and 170.17 VND/JPY.
At BIDV Bank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate increased by 0.36 VND in buying and increased by 0.35 VND in selling, reaching 160.73 VND/JPY and 169.29 VND/JPY, respectively.
Agribank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate for buying and selling is 161.27 VND/JPY and 169.44 VND/JPY - up 0.66 VND for buying and up 0.73 VND for selling.
At Eximbank, the buying price increased by 0.76 VND and the selling price increased by 0.78 VND, respectively at 162.54 VND/JPY and 167.26 VND/JPY.

Oil prices continue to receive support from rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and potential supply risks, analysts said.

Coffee remains high at over 100,000 VND/kg
Domestic coffee prices updated at 4:24 a.m. on April 6 showed a slight downward trend, standing at a high of over VND100,000/kg. Currently, the average purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is VND102,600/kg, the highest purchase price in Dak Nong province is VND102,800/kg.

Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces is at 102,600 VND/kg; In Dak Nong province, coffee is purchased at the highest price of 102,800 VND/kg.
The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, coffee is purchased at 102,100 VND/kg.
In Dak Lak province; in Cu M'gar district, coffee is purchased at about 102,400 VND to 102,500 VND/kg./.
