Returning to the roots, multiplying the spiritual value of national solidarity
(Baonghean.vn) - Today, the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month, is the Hung King's death anniversary - a solemn holiday that has been preserved by our people for thousands of years. This is an opportunity for today's descendants to remember their roots and be proud of the cultural traditions and history of four thousand years of building and defending the country by our ancestors.
For generations, in the mind of every Vietnamese person, no matter where they go, what they do; whether living in the country or abroad, they all remember by heart the song: "No matter who goes up or down
Remember the Ancestors' Death Anniversary on the 10th of March"

Remembering the 10th of March is remembering one's roots, is multiplying the pride of carrying the blood of Lac Hong, so that, from each person, sacred emotions well up, lighting incense sticks to offer gratitude to one's ancestors with all one's respect.
The Van Lang country of the ancient Vietnamese with its rice civilization and the brilliant Red River civilization created a rich and unique national cultural identity, laying the foundation for the strong development of the Vietnamese people and the country of Vietnam, and then, the land of Phong Chau where the Hung Kings built their careers became the Ancestral Land. Through thousands of years of changes, every inch of land, every tree at the foot of Nghia Linh; every stone step on the cloud steps of Trung Temple and Thuong Temple has been imbued with the legend of the origin's morality.
For thousands of years, Vietnam’s strength has been an indelible mark of traditional cultural values that have been nurtured through many generations. One of those beauties is the spirit of community solidarity. The 54 ethnic groups on this S-shaped strip of land, whether Kinh or Thuong, whether in the highlands or lowlands, are all children of the same Mother Au Co. Whether at home or abroad, the Vietnamese people always know that they share the same Ancestor's Death Anniversary. Patriotism and compatriotism have thus become sacred values!
Therefore, worshiping Hung Kings is the eternal morality of the nation. This cultural beauty has been persistently passed down and cultivated through many generations, as a solid spiritual support in the spiritual life of the Vietnamese people. The days of March when returning to the sacred mountain of Nghia Linh are to return to the value of the spirit of great national unity - the factor that creates boundless strength for the nation throughout the long journey of building and defending the country yesterday, today and forever tomorrow.
That is why in the most heartfelt words left in President Ho Chi Minh's Testament to the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army, he mentioned the word "unity" 8 times. He considered it a lesson, a vital requirement for the Party and the glorious revolutionary cause that the entire nation was carrying out.
It is not only the sympathy of geniuses but also the wisdom of the origin, the aspiration for the strength and longevity of the nation. The strength of Vietnam is therefore also the strength of the tradition of loyalty, humanity, and altruism passed down from our ancestors for thousands of years.
Hundreds of communal houses and temples worship Hung Kings and historical figures of the Hong Bang era throughout the country. Hung Kings Temples are being built more and more spaciously and majestically, worthy of the stature and significance of a type of belief about the nation's origins; Hung Kings' offerings in many families, tourism and extracurricular programs bringing students back to the history of thousands of years of nation building by our ancestors are vivid evidence of the vitality of Hung Kings' worship in the community.
For the past 5 years, the “Global Vietnamese Ancestral Day” has been solemnly organized by the Committee for Overseas Vietnamese (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) in coordination with social organizations abroad, not only for Vietnamese people far from home to return to their roots, but also as a way to connect Vietnam with international friends, together preserving and spreading the global values of the Hung King Worship Belief, contributing to defining Vietnamese culture and people.
With all national pride and boundless respect for our ancestors, on the anniversary of our ancestors' death, let us light incense sticks towards our roots; deeply imbued with Uncle Ho's advice:“The Hung Kings built the country, we must work together to protect it.”to know that we must live responsibly, together multiply the sacred meaning of the two words "Compatriots", turn traditional cultural and religious values into material strength, into endless endogenous resources for the Vietnamese people, and for Vietnam to be forever rich and strong./.
