Prosecuted 2 subjects for illegal transnational drug trafficking

Previously, through the work of grasping the situation, Yen Thanh District Police discovered a network.drug traffickingfrom abroad to Nghe An for consumption. A special project was established to fight and destroy.
The ringleader was Pham Van Ly (born in 1979, residing in Tay Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An). He directly brought drugs from abroad to Nghe An, then divided them into small pieces and distributed them to drug retail outlets in Yen Thanh district and neighboring districts for consumption. During the fight, the Task Force encountered many difficulties, however, with high determination, the Task Force focused its forces, surveyed the area, and grasped the movements of the subjects.
At 1:00 p.m. on April 6, 2024, Yen Thanh District Police caught Nguyen Thanh Binh (born in 1977, residing in Quang Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, Nghe An) red-handed for illegally buying and selling drugs, seizing 320 synthetic drug pills. According to Nguyen Thanh Binh's statement, the drugs he had were "imported" from Pham Van Ly. Yen Thanh District Police immediately issued an emergency search warrant for Pham Van Ly's residence, discovering and seizing 2,873 synthetic drug pills hidden in the subject's garden and car. The total seized evidence was 3,193 synthetic drug pills, 01 car, 02 mobile phones. The case is being further investigated and expanded.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Yen Thanh District Police has decided to prosecute the case and prosecute Pham Van Ly and Nguyen Thanh Binh for the crime of "Illegal drug trafficking".
