More than 500 union members participate in 'Youth Workers' Festival 2024'

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 18, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee, the Provincial Youth Union, and the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union jointly organized the 2024 Youth Workers' Festival at Halotexco Garment Joint Stock Company (Nghi Loc district).

This is a practical activity to respond to Workers' Month 2024; towards welcoming the 7th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province, towards the 9th National Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Youth Union for the 2024-2029 term and celebrating the 28th anniversary of the founding of the Party Committee and Youth Union of Nghe An province's Business Bloc (October 3, 1996 - October 3, 2024).

The program had the participation of more than 500 union members and young workers from Union organizations under the Business Union.

Speaking at the program, the representative of the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union said that currently the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee has 121 grassroots Party organizations, including 75 Youth Union organizations.

For the Youth Union, it currently manages nearly 10,000 young workers. Basically, young workers still face many difficulties not only in material terms, but also in their relatively limited spiritual life.

In the past time, with the spirit of accompanying the grassroots, the Party Committee of the Bloc and the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Youth Union, and the Business Union have organized many practical programs and activities targeting workers.

Typical programs such as: Tet Sum Vay, Youth Workers' Festival, Workers' Singing Festival, traditional sports tournament, building houses of gratitude for young workers, giving gifts to children of workers in difficult circumstances... have left a good impression on youth union members and workers.

This year, the Youth Workers' Festival program was organized with many specific, practical and meaningful activities such as: 0 VND booths, giving gifts to young workers in difficult circumstances, free oil changes, health check-ups and consultations, free medicine distribution, folk game competitions, launching the Youth Workers' Talent Search contest, lucky draws, displaying youth booths...

This is a source of encouragement for workers to overcome difficulties, enthusiastically work and produce, and successfully complete assigned targets and tasks.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented 25 gifts to 25 young workers in difficult circumstances with a total value of 15 million VND./.
