The spread of the Competition for Excellent Party Cell Secretaries
(Baonghean.vn) - The 2024 Competition for Excellent Party Cell Secretaries organized by the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies has concluded and become a broad political activity of great significance in the work of Party building and building the political system of the entire Party Committee.
The 2024 Excellent Party Cell Secretary Contest of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies Bloc has gone through the preliminary round in 03 clusters with the participation of 52 candidates. The preliminary round results selected 09 excellent candidates to participate in the final round.
In the process of organizing the competition at the grassroots level, each unit has different ways of doing things, showing flexibility, suitable to the characteristics and practical situation but still ensuring compliance with the set purpose, requirements and content.
Some Party committees have expanded the exam subjects to deputy secretaries of Party cells with enthusiastic participation of candidates. Many candidates participating in the contest have prepared carefully, spent time reviewing for the exam, carefully studied Party documents and regulations, and discussed and deliberated with the Party committees and Party cells about the content and format of the exam.
Therefore, through the 3 competition contents, the diversity of party organization types in the Party Committee of the Bloc, the creativity of ideas, implementation methods and smooth management skills of many party cell secretaries were demonstrated.
For the self-introduction contest: The contestants performed through many forms such as skits, performances, video clips, combined with slide presentations and self-introduction on stage, thereby providing information about their party cell, political tasks, outstanding achievements of the party cell, secretary and sending messages spread through the contest... The self-introduction contest created liveliness and softness in the contest program, attracting the attention of a large number of viewers and followers.
For the contest on general knowledge about the Party and Party building work, the Organizing Committee of the Contest has a bank of 100 questions (for the preliminary round), 150 questions (for the final round), in which the question system updates new documents, new policies, and content recently implemented by the Central, Provincial and Party Committees of the Bloc. Most of the contestants have spent time carefully studying the regulations and instructions on implementing the Party Charter; have a firm grasp of Party work, and the number of contestants who answered quickly and achieved maximum scores in this contest is basic.
In the Situational Presentation section, the candidates demonstrated their understanding of Party work and political tasks of the agency, locality, and unit. The presentations focused on arguments and evidence through specific data and documents, but still demonstrated diversity and richness. Based on general knowledge, the candidates applied, related, resolved, and handled well the situations arising from the base and answered the key points of the situational questions given by the Jury.
Participating in the final round of the competition were 9 candidates who were typical and excellent grassroots party cell secretaries and core members through the cluster rounds. Coming to the competition, each candidate, despite having different conditions and circumstances in terms of age, qualifications, experience, and work position, but with the responsibility of being a party cell secretary, overcame all difficulties to demonstrate their enthusiasm, courage, responsibility, dynamism, innovation, and creativity in 3 competition sections, including: Self-introduction; General Knowledge and Leadership and Executive Skills. The competition on Party cell executive skills at a mock party cell meeting was a new point in this competition.
The organizing committee has presented diverse, rich, and comprehensive situations in areas such as leadership in implementing political tasks, leadership in administrative reform, leadership in ideological work, implementation of inspection, supervision, enforcement of Party discipline, Party member development work, implementation of exemplary responsibilities, implementation of government mass mobilization work...
Many Party cell secretaries have demonstrated their proficiency in management skills, handling situations, demonstrating the leadership role of the Party cell, the functions and tasks of the Party cell secretary, distinguishing the functions and tasks of each type of Party organization, and the contents deployed in the Party cell are close to the practical situation and suitable to the requirements of the task.
The innovation in the form and organization of the 2024 contest of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee has really attracted the enthusiastic response of the secretaries and deputy secretaries of the Party Committees and grassroots Party cells under the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies, secretaries of Party cells under the grassroots Party Committees and a large number of cadres and Party members in the entire Party Committee.
The good impression and success of the contest are the motivation for the team of Party cell secretaries and Party committees at all levels to continue to strive to contribute their intelligence and experience in their work; lead and direct the successful completion of political tasks of each agency and unit, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term.
This is a broad political activity in the entire Party Committee of the Bloc, and is also a meaningful activity to celebrate the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024) and towards the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc (September 22, 1954 - September 22, 2024).
