Monitor those who bring fire into Mount Quyet, and prevent forest fires.
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to prevent the risk of forest fires in the Quyet mountain area, Trung Do ward, Vinh City - where the temple of Emperor Quang Trung is located and where over 400 households live around the mountain, the Forest Protection force and related units regularly monitor the use of fire by people visiting the site.

The Quyết mountain area in Trung Đô ward, Vinh City, receives a considerable number of tourist groups daily.Quyet MountainThe vegetation is still dense, and the risk of forest fires due to some tourists bringing lighters is very high.

To minimize the risk of forest fires, right from the beginning of the hot season, the Trung Do ward organizations, in coordination with the Vinh City - Cua Lo Forest Protection Force, cleared undergrowth beneath the pine forest canopy and around the tombs. In areas with tombs, the authorities have posted signs saying "no burning of votive paper" to reduce the risk of forest fires.

In particular, around the Quyet mountain area, at the three checkpoints controlling entry and exit to the forest, forest rangers and related forces are always on duty to control people bringing fire into the forest. The relevant forces regularly inspect the three water tanks and one pumping station, as well as test the operation of the water hydrants, always ready to handle any incidents that may occur.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Thang, a forest ranger in Vinh City - Cua Lo, stated: In the Quyet Mountain area, the area of cleared vegetation is still low, only reaching 4.5 out of 50 hectares. Clearance is mainly concentrated in key areas such as the Quang Trung Emperor's temple, the Vinh weather radar station, five tomb complexes, and residential areas. Therefore, the risk of forest fires is very high during the hot season.

To minimize the risk of forest fires, in addition to deploying forces to monitor people bringing fire into the forest, the Vinh - Cua Lo City Forest Management Unit is proposing to the Vinh City People's Committee to implement the construction of firebreaks on Quyet Mountain, ensuring safety for the area around the Quang Trung Emperor's temple, the Vinh weather radar station, 5 mausoleums, and over 400 households.
