Nearly 300 athletes participate in the 2024 Lotus Village Festival Sports Competition
(Baonghean.vn) - The contest is an activity within the series of events celebrating the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, at the same time creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, enhancing solidarity, exchange, learning and sharing of experiences between localities.
On the afternoon of May 15, at the Kim Lien Commune Sports and Gymnasium, Nam Dan District, the Department of Culture and Sports coordinated with the People's Committee of Nam Dan District to organize the 2024 Lotus Village Festival Sports Competition.
Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Department of Culture and Sports, Nam Dan District People's Committee and many coaches, athletes and fans of the teams participating in the competition.
This year's Lotus Village Festival Sports Competition has the participation of nearly 300 athletes from 17 districts, cities and towns, competing in two events: men's volleyball and traditional martial arts.
The 2024 Nghe An Province Lotus Village Festival Sports Competition is an activity within the series of events celebrating the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, at the same time creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, enhancing solidarity, exchange, learning and sharing of experiences between localities, contributing to promoting the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".
The contest will close and award prizes on May 18.
