Nghe An province delegation successfully concluded working visit to China
After 7 working days, on the afternoon of June 1, the high-ranking delegation of Nghe An province led by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung successfully concluded their working visit to China.
The visit and work of the high-ranking delegation of Nghe An province to China lasted from May 26 to June 1. With dense and rich activities, the delegation's working trip was a great success, completing all the set goals and requirements.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized that the purpose of this working trip to China is to expand cooperation with Chinese localities and investors; introduce the investment environment, mechanisms and preferential policies that Nghe An province currently has so that investors can come to research, survey and invest in the province.
In addition, the business trip is an opportunity to meet and work with businesses that have invested in Nghe An; organize investment connections with businesses that are investing in industrial park infrastructure such as VSIP, WHA, Hoang Thinh Dat.
During the visit, in Guangzhou city, Guangdong province, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with the Vietnamese Consul General; visited the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association Headquarters and offered flowers and incense to commemorate martyr Pham Hong Thai.
In Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung had a meeting with Secretary of the Dongguan City Party Committee Xiao Yafei.
Leaders of Nghe An province and Dongguan city agreed to strengthen economic, trade and industrial production cooperation; promote people-to-people exchanges, cultural exchanges and group exchanges.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung said that the development experiences of Dongguan city are valuable and meaningful lessons for Nghe An province, especially the experience in developing new models such as: digital economy, green economy, circular economy, smart and modern urban development; he hoped that Dongguan city leaders would introduce and connect businesses to seek investment opportunities in Nghe An.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung and the delegation also met and worked with enterprises in the Dongguan Federation of Industry and Commerce and Best Pacific Group.
Dongguan Federation of Industry and Commerce was founded in 1956. The Federation has 210 group members, including 32 township federations of industry and commerce, 99 non-local chambers of commerce, 79 chambers of commerce associations and more than 30,000 member companies.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that, as a locality with a population, area and economy that are among the top in Vietnam, Nghe An province is always open and has prepared the necessary conditions to attract investors to research, survey and implement projects in the area.
Enterprises in Dong Quan have strengths suitable for the fields that Nghe An province is calling for investment, especially in the fields of manufacturing electronic components, smart devices, optical devices...
At the meeting, enterprises in Dongguan Industry and Commerce Federation highly appreciated the potential, strengths and advantages that Nghe An province currently has, the results of attracting FDI investment of the province in recent years and wished to invest in Nghe An in the coming time.
Also during the working program, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung and the delegation visited and worked with leaders of Everwin Group, Luxshare - ICT Group, Foxconn Interconnect Technology Ltd and TIP Shine Company.
These are leading electronic technology corporations and companies in China and the world, specializing in the production of electronic components, logistics, and technology products. These enterprises are currently investing in 5 projects, proposing to invest in 1 project in VSIP Nghe An I Industrial Park and WHA Industrial Park.
Expressing his impression and congratulating the results and achievements that the corporations and companies have achieved, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee sincerely thanked Everwin Group, Luxshare - ICT Group, Foxconn Group and TIP Shine Company for choosing VSIP Industrial Park, WHA Industrial Park of Nghe An province to invest in the project and propose project investment.
The head of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Nghe An's consistent viewpoint is to always accompany and support investors from the time of research and survey, carrying out procedures until the project operates stably.

The leader of Runergy Group said that in its development strategy, the group plans to move the production line of input materials for polycrystalline silicon bars and semiconductor wafers to Hoang Mai Industrial Park, forming a closed supply chain; at the same time, it is researching the construction of a solar power plant in Nghe An province.
Expressing his sincere thanks to Runergy Group for choosing Hoang Mai I Industrial Park to invest in the project, which is expected to officially operate in June 2024, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized that Nghe An province will continue to accompany Runergy Group to remove and resolve related issues, effectively and successfully deploy the project; build Hoang Mai town into the largest energy equipment manufacturing center in Vietnam and the region.
In Shanghai, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung and the delegation worked with the Consulate General of Vietnam in Shanghai; worked with the Shanghai Industrial Economic Federation and visited Shanghai Zhida Technology Development Co., Ltd.
Shanghai is the center of economics, finance, commerce - free trade, shipping - logistics, science and technology and innovation not only in China but also in the world. In 2023, Shanghai's total import and export turnover will reach 1,300 billion USD, attracting FDI of 24 billion USD, and investing abroad of nearly 7 billion USD.
The Shanghai Industrial Economic Federation has 500 members, including association members, enterprise members and individual members. The Federation has more than 70,000 enterprises, operating in 206 industries and professions such as finance, information, trade, manufacturing services and logistics, design and exhibition services.
At the meeting, the Chairman of the Shanghai Industrial Economic Federation emphasized that it will promote connection activities in the fields of economics, trade, investment, finance... between members and localities and enterprises of Nghe An province.
Introducing the province's business investment environment, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized that Nghe An wishes to attract enterprises in the federation in the fields of industrial production, processing, manufacturing, electronics, optical equipment, new technology products, green energy, renewable energy..., on the principle of mutual benefit and win-win.

In 2023, Nghe An province's export turnover to the Chinese market is 518.2 million USD. Import turnover from the Chinese market is 219 million USD. In the first quarter of 2024, export turnover to the Chinese market will reach 198.7 million USD, import turnover from the Chinese market will reach 130.8 million USD.
The visit and working session of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung and the high-ranking delegation of Nghe An province has opened up new cooperation opportunities between the province and Chinese localities and partners; especially creating a bridge for Chinese enterprises to come and learn about and invest in Nghe An, especially in the areas that the province prioritizes attracting and businesses with strengths.
