This morning, at the Do Luong 1 High School Examination Council, candidate Nguyen Van Tu - a 9A student - Nam Son Secondary School had to come to the examination room dressed as a sick person. Just 4 days ago, this candidate had to undergo emergency surgery for appendicitis.

After 4 days of treatment at the hospital, this male student still could not recover his health. However, to ensure the right to be admitted to grade 10, this candidate was still determined to participate in the grade 10 entrance exam at the Examination Council of Do Luong 1 High School.

Present at the exam site, Mr. Nguyen Tat Hung - Deputy Secretary of Do Luong District Youth Union said: From early morning, the volunteer group supporting the exam season of Do Luong district gathered at the exam sites to be ready to support candidates during the 10th grade entrance exam. When we saw Tu's family taking him to the exam site, we were quite surprised and then supported the family to take him to the exam site.

Before entering the exam room, this candidate was taken to the school's medical room for a health check. Despite taking the exam in unfavorable circumstances, his mood was quite good, calm, and confident. Although his health had not fully recovered, and the wound from the surgery was still a bit painful, he was still able to participate in this exam normally like other candidates. This candidate also shared that he would try to do well on his exam. Before entering the exam room, his family also prepared an extra chair for him so that he could sit alone in the exam room, without affecting the work of other candidates in the room.

Also present at the exam site, teacher Nguyen Xuan Tan - Head of the Nam Son Secondary School (Do Luong) said: Tu is one of the 3 students with the highest overall score in grade 9 this school year, for 4 consecutive years he has been an Excellent Student, in grade 9, Tu achieved the title of Excellent Student at the district level. Although before the exam, Tu's health was not guaranteed, he was still determined to take the exam so as not to lose the opportunity to enter Do Luong 1 High School. On the school's side, the homeroom teacher and subject teachers always encouraged him to overcome difficulties and complete the exam in the best way.

Unlike the High School Graduation Exam, in cases of force majeure such as accidents, illness, etc., candidates can be exempted from graduation. However, in the 10th grade entrance exam, candidates who do not take the exam will not have the opportunity to enter public schools.
