The Central Youth Union highly appreciates the support work for the construction of the 500kV line circuit 3 by Nghe An youth.
Secretary of the Central Youth Union Ngo Van Cuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the pioneering and volunteering spirit of Nghe An youth in the process of accompanying and supporting the construction of the 500kV line circuit 3. From here, there are many important orientations to improve the effectiveness of this work in the coming time.
The 500kV line project, 3-circuit section through Nghe An province, is 99.99km long, passing through 5 districts (Nam Dan, Yen Thanh, Hoang Mai, Dien Chau, Nghi Loc) with nearly 202 column foundations. This project affects 25 housing projects and 43 architectural structures in 5/6 districts and towns.
In order to deploy support activities in a synchronous and effective manner, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has closely followed the direction of the Central Youth Union Secretariat to develop and issue Plan No. 2180-KH/TĐTN-PT dated June 3, 2024 "on implementing a peak emulation campaign of 30 days and nights of volunteering to overcome the sun and rain to participate in supporting the implementation of the 500kV line 3 circuit project through Nghe An province".
In which, the peak competition period is determined to take place from June 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and the Command Board of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign of Nghe An province have directed online the establishment of 74 youth volunteer teams with 1,100 youth union members to participate in the peak emulation period.
The teams will participate in supporting the outer ring during the construction process; supporting transportation, assembly, pulling wires, lobbying people to clear the land to ensure progress, coordinating with functional forces to regulate traffic when power lines are pulled through...
By the end of June 10, 2024, the Youth Union had coordinated to dismantle 14 houses and 28 structures, leaving 11 houses and 15 structures.
In the following days, the volunteer team continued to dismantle the constructions at 2 locations in Dien Chau district. Hoang Mai, Yen Thanh, Nghi Loc, Quynh Luu, and Nam Dan units continued to carry out activities to clear the construction corridor.

Along with that, the Delegation of units continued to coordinate to mobilize households that have not agreed to relocation or compensation plans; and to deploy activities to provide water and meals to construction teams at unfinished column foundation points.
Concluding the working session, Secretary of the Central Youth Union Ngo Van Cuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactive and pioneering spirit of Nghe An youth in managing and implementing practical tasks to support project construction.

In the coming time, comrade Ngo Van Cuong noted 5 important contents. Notably, the Youth Union at all levels and the youth volunteer teams need to coordinate with construction units to arrange forces in accordance with the practical situation, ensuring efficiency but still ensuring safety.

Maximize the role of leaders of the Youth Union, especially the Commune Youth Union Secretary, who need to be more proactive and enthusiastic. For the Provincial Youth Union staff, it is necessary to stay close to the locality, step by step accompany, urge and resolve practical problems and difficulties in the most optimal way.
In particular, it is necessary to promote the role of the "Green March" team (youth of the armed forces) in supporting relocation, dismantling and related work.
The working delegation also directly visited and encouraged the youth volunteers and workers constructing the power line in Khanh Son commune, Nam Dan district. Here, comrade Ngo Van Cuong hoped that the cadres, workers and youth volunteers would continue to promote the spirit of "overcoming the sun and overcoming the rain", "3 shifts and 4 shifts"... to ensure the progress of the project./.
