US business delegation works with Nghe An Education sector
On the morning of June 12, a delegation of US businesses had a working session and discussed the high-quality human resource training program with the Nghe An Education Department.
Attending the activities within the framework of the US business delegation program in Nghe An province were Ms. Jill Martin - President of North American University, Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien - National Director of the US-Asia Chamber of Commerce.

At the meeting, Ms. Jill Martin - President of North American University expressed her joy at visiting and working with the Nghe An Department of Education and Training. This was an opportunity for members to introduce North American University, its training programs and courses, and the scholarship policies being implemented.
At the same time, she expressed her desire to cooperate with the education sector and high schools in the province in areas such as training, scholarships, and curriculum exchanges.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Thai Van Thanh - Director of Nghe An Department of Education and Training emphasized: In the long-term strategy to create a legal corridor for sustainable development of Nghe An education until 2030, with a vision to 2045, Nghe An identified 1 of 3 breakthrough development tasks as "Strengthening domestic and international cooperation in education and especially in digital transformation". Therefore, this exchange and cooperation program is of great significance.
The Department's leaders also introduced to the delegation the highlights of Nghe An's educational work. Over the years, the quality of mass education and key education in the province has always been maintained stable.
In the last 10 years alone, the results of excellent students at national, regional and international levels have consistently been at the top of the country; the quality of foreign language teaching has changed positively, with a large number of students achieving international language certificates. The quality and effectiveness of vocational education have received attention and have changed positively, with the rate of students achieving good and excellent results in colleges and intermediate schools increasing.
Higher education institutions in the province basically regularly supplement enough training majors; training quality meets the needs of businesses and especially meets the annual enrollment targets for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

To sustainably develop education and training in Nghe An to meet the requirements of educational innovation, international integration and the fourth industrial revolution, the key solution is to scientifically organize the training and fostering of teachers and managers according to national and international standards; promote the role of teachers and educational managers in the cause of fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training.
The sector also proactively links and cooperates with localities and domestic units; strengthens international cooperation in education and training development, in training high-quality human resources; promotes digital transformation of the education sector in the province, ensures comprehensive education quality, builds specific policies and mechanisms to prioritize education development in ethnic minority, mountainous and disadvantaged areas.

Nghe An is also building effective educational innovation models in the province: Advanced schools following the trend of international integration; connected, smart schools; models to ensure the quality of general education, preschool education, etc.
Develop and implement a project to restructure universities and colleges in Nghe An province; coordinate and upgrade Vinh University as the core to become a prestigious training center in the region and the world.
In the coming time, Mr. Thai Van Thanh hopes to cooperate and connect to implement projects to support scholarships and recruit international students at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted and other top high schools in the province, to study at North American Universities and other universities in the United States.

The head of the Education sector also wishes to cooperate in building a joint training program between the North American University and universities in Nghe An province to train in fields such as semiconductors, electronics and some other new professions, meeting the demand for human resources in the digital transformation era.
