Delegation of Nghe An province visited and worked at the Embassy of Vietnam in Germany
On the evening of June 14 (local time), in Berlin, the Nghe An Provincial Delegation visited and worked with the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany.

The delegation was led by Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.
The working delegation included comrades: Le Duc Cuong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee; Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police; Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Bui Dinh Long - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Directors of the departments: Planning and Investment, Finance, Transport, Agriculture and Rural Development, Foreign Affairs.
Receiving and working with the delegation were comrade Vu Quang Minh - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to the Federal Republic of Germany and leaders and staff of the Embassy.

At the meeting, Nghe An Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy discussed with Ambassador Vu Quang Minh some key features of the province's socio-economic development in recent times, and the province's development strategy and vision for the coming time.
Despite many achievements, Nghe An province, especially the vast Western region, still faces many difficulties and is in great need of resources for investment and development.
Thereby, the head of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee hopes that Ambassador Vu Quang Minh and the Embassy will support, connect and assist the province to expand its partners in Europe, especially in Germany in various fields, especially in developing marine economy, seaports, mechanical engineering, technology-based agriculture, green energy, circular economy... as well as support to be able to connect effectively with German business associations such as: German Business Association in the Asia-Pacific region.

In Nghe An province, there are currently 2 projects using ODA loans from Germany with a total investment of nearly 156 billion VND. Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy hopes that the Embassy will continue to support and promote calling on German organizations to support Nghe An province with ODA and NGO aid in the fields of agriculture and rural areas combined with sustainable poverty reduction.
In Germany, there are currently about 200,000 Vietnamese people living mainly in the cities of Berlin, Frankfurt, Leipzig... including many overseas Vietnamese from Nghe An. The Nghe An Association in Germany (established in May 2010) has become a common home for generations of Nghe An people in Germany, one of the strong associations, with many contributions to the community and towards the country, homeland, especially in times of natural disasters, storms and floods...
Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy hopes that the Embassy will continue to care for and support the Vietnamese community in Germany in general, including children from Nghe An who are living, studying and working smoothly.
At the meeting, Embassy officials in charge of their respective fields informed the delegation about the related situation.

Ambassador Vu Quang Minh, speaking at the meeting, congratulated the delegation on their successful working trip to the Netherlands and the UK; expressed his impression and joy at the achievements in the province's economic and social development, especially that Nghe An not only attracted high-quality FDI, but also attracted high-quality investors in the field of technology.
Ambassador Vu Quang Minh informed the delegation about the Vietnam - Germany strategic partnership that continues to deepen and be substantive in many areas. The two countries are looking forward to celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations (September 23, 1975 - September 23, 2025).
This is a favorable condition for Nghe An to develop cooperative relationships with German partners. In response to the proposals of Nghe An provincial leaders, Ambassador Vu Quang Minh expressed his high agreement and suggested that through German agencies in Vietnam such as the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the German Business Association in Vietnam (GBA), the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Vietnam, and the German House in Ho Chi Minh City, they can connect and work directly to inform and promote with partners.

For his part, in Germany, with affection and responsibility for Nghe An, the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh, Ambassador Vu Quang Minh affirmed that the Embassy will continue to promote its role to support connection, promotion, and cooperation between Nghe An and German enterprises, especially in areas where Nghe An has conditions, strengths, and is in line with the world's development trends such as: renewable energy, circular economy, green energy; developing clean, safe, organic agriculture; cooperation on labor, employment, etc. as well as mobilizing ODA capital sources.
Ambassador Vu Quang Minh also suggested that the province and businesses prepare well for investment promotion activities in Germany in 2025, an event within the series of activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to the Federal Republic of Germany said that the Vietnamese community in Germany has actively integrated, has a position and prestige in the local society; they always promote the spirit of solidarity, always looking towards their homeland and country.
Ambassador Vu Quang Minh highly appreciated the overseas Vietnamese community from Nghe An, as well as the effectiveness of the Nghe An Association in Germany.
