'Wushu Queen' Thuy Hien rarely mentions her ex-husband
"Wushu Queen" Thuy Hien shared about the new song composed by her ex-husband, musician Mars Anh Tu, for Tung Duong.

Sharing her feelings at the MV introduction, Thuy Hien said that it's been a long time since she heard a song that moved her so much."I am a person related to this art. Anh Tu used to be my ex-husband. My daughter now follows in her father’s footsteps. But I am not the type of person who listens to a lot of music and studies songs. I just listen to random songs, and like any song that I find suitable, even though I don’t remember the name or the author.
The first time I listened to Anh Tu's song, I was really moved. If I said I was crying, he would think I was moved by him so I hid it and didn't dare say anything.Thuy Hien shared. This is a rare occasion when the "Wushu Queen" mentioned her ex-husband.
The former athlete also said that when she listened to the song composed by her ex-husband, she saw a part of her life in it."I think everyone is like that, especially women who have experienced ups and downs in life, have gotten married and had children, have had brilliant struggles and also had times of deep sadness.At Tung Duong's MV launch today, I want to tell a lot about the ups and downs of my life, but I'm not the main character. Thuy Hien was born in 1979 in a family with a rich tradition of sports in Hanoi. She started her martial arts career at the age of 12. Thanks to her outstanding talent, Thuy Hien soon became a potential seed of the Vietnamese Wushu community in the 90s and early 2000s, and was nicknamed "Wushu Queen" by the media.
In 1993, she was the first Vietnamese athlete to win a Gold Medal at the World Wushu Championship in Malaysia at the age of 14. During her career, she won 7 World Championship Gold Medals, 2 Asian Gold Medals, 8 SEA Games Gold Medals...
In 2001, Thuy Hien met musician Anh Tu and quickly fell in love. The couple married a year later and had two daughters, Ngan Ha and Lam Phuong. However, after 4 years together, they went their separate ways, and the children all lived with their mother.
After breaking up with musician Anh Tu, Thuy Hien fell into a crisis for a while, avoiding contact with the press and almost disappearing from the media. In 2019, Thuy Hien decided to get married for the second time to her childhood best friend. However, this marriage did not last a lifetime.
Musician Anh Tu married singer Lam Trang and has a son and a daughter with her.
At present, Thuy Hien and Anh Tu still consider each other as friends and are willing to help each other in life. The former athlete once shared that the joy in her current life is the maturity of her children.
