Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club defeated Binh Duong 1-0 at Go Dau Stadium in round 24 of V.League on the evening of June 20.

Despite that, the BETSiE supercomputer still rates England as having a 20.97% chance of winning the championship - the highest among the 24 teams participating in EURO 2024.

If Gareth Southgate's team can do as the supercomputer predicts, England will end their 58-year title drought.

France, who beat Austria 1-0 in their opening match, are also predicted by the supercomputer to have a 17.91% chance of winning the championship – ranking second. The next positions belong to host Germany with 16.58%, Portugal (12.69%), Spain (10.02%).

Belgium lost their opening game, Croatia have just one point from two games - a supercomputer predicts them to finish third in their respective groups. Despite starting with wins, Romania and Slovakia are languishing in 19th and 20th place, with a mere 0.06% chance of winning.

Serbia threatens to withdraw from EURO 2024

The Serbian Football Federation accused Albanian and Croatian fans of using insulting words and even threatening to attack Serbs during the match on the evening of June 19.

The General Secretary of the Football Federation of Serbia (FSS) - Mr. Jovan Surbatovic - said that he has submitted a request to UEFA, requesting sanctions against the Football Federations of Albania and Croatia.

Mr. Surbatovic affirmed that Serbia is ready to leave EURO 2024 if UEFA does not have appropriate penalties.

According to the complaint, Albanian and Croatian fans sang insulting and vulgar words towards Serbians before and during the match.

"What happened last night was a real scandal. We demand that UEFA intervene immediately. Even if we are no longer participating in the tournament, they must have appropriate punishments," Mr. Surbatovic told RTS.

According to The Sun, if Serbia withdraws from EURO 2024, Serbia's final match against Denmark will be cancelled. Denmark will win 3-0 according to UEFA rules, and Serbia will certainly be heavily punished.

Mr. Jovan Surbatovic firmly said: "We believe that the Croatian and Albanian Football Federations will be punished. But in case this does not happen, Serbia will consider a response plan."

At this tournament, Serbia also received a penalty from the organizing committee, after accusations of racism in the opening match against England.

"We have accepted the punishment from UEFA and call on the fans to be more sensitive. Serbians never want to affect others," said Mr. Jovan Surbatovic.
