Nghe An Provincial People's Council plans 2 groups of questions at the mid-year meeting in 2024
The two groups of expected questions are related to the arrangement of commune-level administrative units and state management of food safety, smuggled goods of unknown origin; planning and conversion of market management models in Nghe An province.

On the afternoon of July 3, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a press conference to announce the program and content of the 21st session (regular session in mid-2024), the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.
Comrades: Nguyen Nhu Khoi -Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Bui Duy Son - Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council chaired the press conference.
Attending the press conference were leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors, along with leaders and reporters of local and resident press agencies.

Expected to consider and pass 25 resolutions
At the press conference, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Comrade Bui Duy Son - Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council announced the expected program, content, time and venue of the 21st session of the Provincial People's Council.
Accordingly, the 21st session is scheduled to be held on July 10 and 11, 2024 in Vinh city; the session is shortened by half a day compared to previous regular sessions.

At this session, the Provincial People's Council reviewed 26 reports on socio-economic development results and activities of the Standing Committee, Provincial People's Council committees, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial People's Court, Provincial People's Procuracy, Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Department in the first 6 months of the year, tasks for the last 6 months of 2024, and a number of related reports.
The Provincial People's Council also considered and approved 25 resolutions on socio-economics, national defense and security. These include resolutions to supplement and adjust public investment plans; adjust investment policies for projects; master plan for the construction of the High-Tech Forestry Zone in the North Central region; regulations on the authority to decide on the purchase of assets for scientific and technological tasks, goods and services under the procurement budget within the management scope of Nghe An province; a project to promote decentralization for the People's Committees at district and commune levels and specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee; regulations on the level of support for health insurance premiums and co-payments for HIV antiviral drugs for people with HIV/AIDS who have health insurance cards...

The Provincial People's Council plans to question two groups of contents. One is the issue of administrative unit arrangement and arrangement, arrangement, and resolution of regimes and policies for cadres, civil servants, and redundant workers after the arrangement of commune-level administrative units; the other is state management of food safety, management of smuggled goods, goods of unknown origin, and planning and conversion of market management models in Nghe An province.

Continue to improve the quality of activities of the Provincial People's Council
At the press conference, leaders and reporters from a number of press agencies raised a number of issues related to improving the quality of activities of the Provincial People's Council as well as organizing the 21st session.
