Vietnam women's volleyball team officially won a ticket to the world championship
Defeating Chinese Taipei U20 women's team 3-0, Vietnam U20 women's team entered the top 5 of the U20 Asia tournament, officially winning a ticket to the 2025 World Championship.
As expected by fans, the Vietnam U20 women's volleyball team played excellently in the final match for 5th place in the Asian U20 Women's Championship against Chinese Taipei with the brilliance of striker Dang Thi Hong.
In set 1, we quickly created a score advantage from the start, creating a gap of 4-6 points over our opponents before winning 25-19.
In set 2, U20 women's team from Chinese Taipei played with determination, quickly taking the lead 13-9 then 17-15, but U20 women's team from Vietnam woke up in time to equalize the score 17-17 and gradually took the lead to win 25-19.
After losing consecutively in the first two sets, the U20 women's team of Chinese Taipei lost their spirit while we became more confident and excited, so the students of coach Nguyen Trong Linh quickly took the lead from the beginning with a score of 5-0, then 10-6, 21-12 and 24-14 before winning with a difference of 25-15 to close the set and also "close the coffin" of the match with a score of 3-0.
Defeating Chinese Taipei U20 Women's Team 3-0, we ranked 5th at the 2024 Asian U20 Women's Championship and officially won a ticket to the 2025 World U21 Women's Championship. This is another resounding success for Vietnamese women's volleyball after the National Women's Volleyball Team's achievement of 3rd place at the FIVB Challenger Cup 2024.
