Currently, the Nghe An Province War Invalids Nursing Center is still caring for and treating 56 seriously wounded and sick soldiers from Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces who participated in the resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism, protecting the border, performing international duties, and 1 lonely martyr's wife with no one to rely on.
In 2017, in parallel with the task of caring for seriously wounded soldiers, the Center was assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to organize rotational nursing for meritorious people in the province. To date, the unit has provided more than 3,000 nursing cares for meritorious people in Nghe An province.

In the first 6 months of this year, in addition to the nursing task, the Center has developed a plan to organize rotational nursing for 600 meritorious people and relatives of martyrs from Nghia Dan and Tan Ky districts to participate in nursing.
Arriving at the Center, leaders of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Nghe An province, departments, branches, localities and sponsors respectfully offered incense to the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and meritorious people who sacrificed and passed away at the Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center.

This is also a practical gift that the Program "Lighting the Flame of Gratitude in 2024" presents to the Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center on the occasion of its 50th anniversary.

Along with the good implementation of preferential policies of the Party and State, the work of "repaying gratitude", taking care of war invalids, martyrs' families, and people with meritorious services to the revolution has now been gradually socialized with many extensive movements, having practical effects.
