Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu offered incense to commemorate heroic martyrs and presented gifts to families with meritorious services in Anh Son district.
On July 19, the provincial delegation led by Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery and presented gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and outstanding meritorious people in Anh Son district.
Also attending were leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Provincial Military Command, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union and leaders of Anh Son district.

At the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery, the provincial delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense at the Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs; offered incense at the Memorial and the martyrs' graves with a sincere heart and deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the country's peace and development, for the noble and steadfast international friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

The provincial delegation also vowed to follow in the footsteps of previous generations to strive to overcome difficulties, complete assigned tasks, contribute to building an increasingly prosperous homeland, and make worthy contributions to the country's development.

The Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery is the resting place of more than 10,832 officers, volunteer soldiers and military experts who died on the Lao battlefield, including 6,830 graves with unknown names and hometowns.

On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts to the Cemetery Management Board, encouraging the Board's officials and employees to continue to do a good job of managing, protecting and taking care of the martyrs' graves.

On the same day, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu and the delegation visited and presented gifts to policy families: Mr. Tran Kim Cau (born in 1938) in Dinh Hung village, Dinh Son commune, a Hero of the People's Armed Forces, a 4/4 war invalid and Mr. Nguyen Van Lap (born in 1930) in Bai Say village, Dinh Son commune, the father of martyr Nguyen Van Khai (born in 1959, enlisted on August 18, 1978, died on December 19, 1978 at the Southwest front), and also the person who worships his younger brother - martyr Nguyen Van Dan (enlisted on August 1969, died on October 3, 1972 at the Southern front).

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and members of the delegation kindly asked about the health and living conditions of the policy families and presented gifts to them. At the same time, they expressed their deep gratitude for the contributions and dedication of the policy families and those who have contributed to the cause of national liberation and reunification.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also hopes that families will take care of their health, encourage their children and relatives to comply with the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, continue to build cultural families, participate in economic development, and contribute to building a strong and prosperous province./.
