Male student shares secret to achieving the highest score in Block A in Nghe An province.

Through conversations and inquiries with Đình Hoàng's teachers and friends at various levels of education, we learned that he possesses an admirable academic record, having been an all-around excellent student for 12 consecutive years, with a GPA above 9 points and winning numerous awards in district and provincial-level student competitions in Mathematics and Chemistry.

Notably, in the 2023-2024 academic year, Dinh Hoang excelled, surpassing hundreds of other candidates to win first prize in the provincial-level Chemistry competition for gifted students. Furthermore, through the talent selection process at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hoang achieved a score of 88.77 and was admitted to the Control and Automation Engineering program.

The "sweet fruits" that Dinh Hoang received are thanks to his determination, effort, hard work in studying and training, and his seriousness and perseverance in pursuing his goals.

Hoang shared: "Studying in the science stream is like a journey of knowledge discovery, requiring each student to have a logical, clear, and coherent way of thinking. I understand that the knowledge imparted by teachers is very important, so in class I don't allow myself to be distracted, but concentrate intensely so as not to miss any useful information. At the same time, I always try to complete the assignments given by the teachers for each topic."

For each topic, I create a mind map to easily distinguish and review the material. Hoang always spends a lot of time studying in class, so at home, he only studies for about an hour to organize what he has learned, aiming to remember the basic knowledge and formulas in the textbook for a long time.

Furthermore, regularly helping and supporting my classmates with their homework helps me understand the essence of the problem more deeply, allowing me to overcome my own knowledge gaps and fill in any shortcomings.

According to Hoang, to study effectively and develop in the right direction, one must have a truly relaxed mindset. Therefore, after reviewing and practicing exam questions, he often cycles along scenic country roads or plays games for entertainment.

Speaking about his perfect score of 10 in the three subjects of the A-group in the recent high school graduation exam, Vuong Dinh Hoang shared: "My greatest passion is Chemistry, because I feel this subject has a strange allure. The more I learn and explore, the more new and interesting things I discover. Especially the transformation from one substance to another, which helps me understand the processes that occur in nature, bringing progress and development to humanity. At the same time, through this subject, we can apply it to practical life such as: applications in soap production, fuel gas, manufacturing water treatment machines..."

Pham Van Tuong, Hoang's chemistry teacher for three consecutive years at Quynh Luu 1 High School, said: "Vuong Dinh Hoang excelled in chemistry from the 10th grade, always achieving perfect scores in the subject and demonstrating leadership qualities in the class. Hoang's strengths in his learning style are his humility, calmness, high level of certainty, and concise, succinct presentation."

Regarding solving problems, I strictly adhere to the principle of not making mistakes on easy questions and always striving to find new methods, determined to solve difficult problems, so I always get the fastest results. In particular, in the school's gifted student training team for the 2023-2024 school year, besides studying for myself, Hoang was also very enthusiastic in helping his classmates solve problems. That school year, 100% of the students in the school's team achieved high awards in Chemistry.

As one of the students with strengths in natural science subjects, Hoang was determined to achieve his goals. Therefore, balancing study time between subjects was crucial, so he created a reasonable and scientific schedule.

Thanks to his hard work and dedication to studying and training, Hoang achieved his dream of being admitted to Hanoi University of Science and Technology, majoring in Control and Automation Engineering. He hopes to later take on positions such as: Design engineer, operator, programmer, and controller of modern automated production line systems in industry, agriculture, and fisheries.
