Sleeper bus completely burned on highway.
A sleeper bus traveling from Hanoi to Nghe An suddenly burst into flames in Thanh Hoa province.
At approximately 5 PM on July 27th, a sleeper bus belonging to a bus company in Nghe An province, carrying about 30 people, was traveling on the Mai Son - Cao Bo expressway in the direction of Hanoi - Nghe An. When it reached Cong Chinh commune, Nong Cong district (Thanh Hoa province), it suddenly...burst into flamesexcruciating.
The driver and 30 passengers on the bus miraculously escaped the fire, but the vehicle was completely destroyed.
Reportedly, the incident happened unexpectedly, and the fire spread rapidly, forcing vehicles traveling in the same direction to stop 700 meters away from the burning car for safety.
Immediately after the incident occurred, authorities promptly arrived at the scene and carried out rescue and firefighting operations. The cause is currently being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
