Three individuals charged with trafficking in persons under the age of 16.
Three individuals were involved in the transaction to buy and sell MTV (born in 2008; residing in Nam Dan district).
The individuals charged include: Tran Hai Dang (born in 2000; residing in Dong Da district, Hanoi); Dao Thi Trang (born in 1993; residing in Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province); and Le Thanh Hai (born in 1997; residing in Binh Luong commune, Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province).
Previously, through monitoring online activities, the Thuong Xuan District Police discovered that the Facebook account "Thanh Hai" had posted an advertisement recruiting staff to work at karaoke bars in Thuong Xuan District.
Upon investigation, the district police discovered that the person using the Facebook account "Thanh Hai" was Le Thanh Hai, who was colluding with several individuals outside the province to exchange and sell a girl under 16 years old with the aim of illegally sending her abroad for labor.
After a short investigation, the district police promptly intervened and arrested the three suspects while they were in the process of buying and selling MTTV (born in 2008; residing in Nam Dan district, Nghe An province).
At the police station, the suspects confessed that they were preparing to take V. to Cambodia to work in casinos.
Currently, the police are expanding their investigation into the case.
