Nghi Loc determined to achieve advanced new rural standards by 2025
Nghi Loc district needs to disseminate the plan to be determined to meet the standards of building an advanced new rural district in 2025 so that people know and join hands to implement it, according to the direction of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De at the working session this morning.
On the morning of July 30, the Provincial People's Committee worked with Nghi Loc district to listen to and give opinions on the plan to build Nghi Loc district to meet advanced new rural standards. Co-chairing the meeting were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Phung Thanh Vinh - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Duong Dinh Chinh - Secretary of Nghi Loc District Party Committee. Also attending the meeting were representatives of leaders of relevant departments and branches.

Strive to have 20 advanced new rural communes by the end of 2024
Report of the People's CommitteeNghi Loc districtsaid that up to now, 10/28 communes have been recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards, reaching 35.71%; of which 01 commune has met the model new rural standards in education. It is expected that in August, the province will submit to the province for appraisal and recognition of 9 more communes meeting advanced new rural standards.

By the end of 2024, Nghi Loc strives to have at least 20/28 communes meeting the standards of advanced new rural communes.
Nghi Loc district is focusing on implementing the task of building the criteria for an advanced new rural district. Up to now, the district has achieved 2/9 criteria; 17/38 contents onadvanced new rural district.

At the meeting, Nghi Loc district proposed that the Provincial People's Committee consider and have a mechanism to prioritize resources to support the district in completing the contents and tasks of building an advanced new rural district. Continue to pay attention to directing and guiding the district to remove difficulties and obstacles in implementing the tasks of building an advanced new rural district. At the same time, propose departments and branches to coordinate with the district to continue implementing the criteria, especially the criteria that have not been met.
In particular, it is recommended that the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board develop and implement a plan to complete the waste treatment and wastewater treatment infrastructure of Nam Cam Industrial Park.
Speed up progress and complete construction of projects: Drainage canal along N5 road, drainage canal around WHA2 industrial park.
Direct investors and construction units to ensure safety for traffic works, irrigation canals and ensure environmental sanitation, limit dust affecting people during the process of exploiting and transporting soil and rock to carry out site clearance for construction of WHA2 industrial park.

At the meeting, representatives of departments and branches pointed out the shortcomings and limitations and proposed solutions for Nghi Loc district to complete the criteria to meet advanced new rural standards in the coming time.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by Nghi Loc district in the process of implementing new rural construction.

At the same time, the provincial leaders requested Nghi Loc district to accept the opinions and contributions of departments and branches during the working session; in addition, the district needs to continue to promote the achieved results, overcome shortcomings and limitations, speed up the progress of building an advanced new rural district, focusing on the following tasks:
Strengthen propaganda and mobilization work for the people, especially popularizing the plan to be determined to complete the task of building an advanced new rural district in 2025 so that people know and join hands to strive to implement it.
Directing production development, increasing people's income in a sustainable direction, suitable for climate change, continuing to develop specialty products into OCOP products.
Maximize support resources, effectively integrate capital sources of programs and projects in the area to improve the efficiency of resource use. Diversify capital sources to implement the program, call for joint efforts from businesses, communities and partners, in addition to maximizing the local internal resources.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments and branches to guide the district to complete the missing criteria, and at the same time guide the district to complete the dossier for the district to meet the advanced new rural standards and supporting documents.
Connect and monitor the implementation results of the contents of provincial departments, branches and related agencies, units and localities; regularly report progress, implementation results, difficulties and problems in the implementation process to the Provincial People's Committee to promptly direct, urge and support the removal of difficulties and problems.
