According to RIA Novosti, Major General Apty Alaudinov - Deputy Head of the Political-Military Department of the Russian Armed Forces and commander of the Akhmat special forces said that the irreparable losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces along the entire front line have exceeded 700,000 servicemen.

“The irreparable losses of the Ukrainian side have so far exceeded 700,000 people. In this regard, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are experiencing great difficulties and will continue to worsen.”

Earlier, on July 29, Major General Alaudinov said that the Ukrainian army had completely lost the first line of defense in the special operations zone in Donetsk, and the Russian troops there had the opportunity to maneuver in different directions.

On July 17, General Alaudinov said that the Ukrainian government had realized that their war "had failed".

Major General Alaudinov has repeatedly stated that Russia's military campaign in Ukraine is coming to an end.

"We plan to end the special military operation this year. I am quite sure that we will end the operation next fall. I said this in 2022, 2023 and 2024. Our opponents can already feel this" - the Russian Major General said in early July 2024.

In June, Mr. Alaudinov also commented that Russia's special military operation in Ukraine would be completed in 2024 with Russian forces completely defeating the Ukrainian armed forces.
