450 million VND to support poor patients at the art program "Love in harmony - Compassionate smile"
On the evening of July 31, the charity art program "Love in harmony - Compassionate smiles" took place for the first time at Vinh City General Hospital.
Attending the program were comrades: Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of Nghe An Department of Health, and representatives of provincial departments, agencies and unions and Vinh City People's Committee.
The program features famous artists: People's Artist Hong Luu, Meritorious Artist Que Thuong, Singer Le Vinh Toan, Ha Quynh Nhu, A Pao... with outstanding performances, a precious spiritual gift; giving strength to patients on their journey to fight the disease, towards a healthier life.
The program also brings touching stories about difficult lives that were promptly supported by the hospital's Charity Fund to treat illnesses and build charity houses.
Through the program, sponsors, staff, and employees of Vinh City General Hospital enthusiastically donated 450 million VND to the “Charity Fund for Poor Patients”. This is a great source of encouragement for the hospital to continue organizing more meaningful programs in the future, contributing to bringing joy, hope, and sharing to those in difficult lives.
Speaking at the program, Dr. Nguyen Hong Truong - Party Committee Secretary, Director of Vinh General Hospital emphasized: "With the desire to bring songs to soothe the pain of illness and share some of the burden of life with patients in difficult circumstances, the charity art program "Harmony of Love" was held for the first time at Vinh General Hospital, hoping to bring a special artistic space, where the sweet singing of famous artists blends with kind hearts, creating a touching and meaningful harmony.
In the past time, thanks to the support and contributions of units, businesses, and philanthropists, the Charity Fund for Poor Patients of Vinh City General Hospital has had the opportunity to help many patients in especially difficult circumstances, becoming a "Bridge of love, sharing hope".
