Arrested 2 subjects building solid houses, raising fierce dogs to trade drugs
To deal with the police force, Tran Van Thuc and Nguyen Dau Ha built a solid house, installed a camera system, raised fierce dogs and assigned other people to keep watch to trade drugs.
Previously, through understanding the situation and mobilizing the masses to denounce criminals, Thanh Chuong District Police discovered in the area a number of strange subjects with suspicious signs related to drug-related violations. During the verification and investigation process, the District Police established the identity of the suspects: Tran Van Thuc (born in 1973), residing in My Luong village, Thanh My commune, Thanh Chuong district and Nguyen Dau Ha (born in 1974), residing in hamlet 4, Da Son commune, Do Luong district.

To deal with the police, Tran Van Thuc and Nguyen Dau Ha built a solid house, installed a camera system, raised fierce dogs and assigned other people to keep watch. During the transaction, the subjects often changed their methods of communication and locations and only carried out transactions with "regular customers". In particular, in order to bypass the authorities, the subjects often chose locations on inter-district routes, next to companies and factories with many workers moving around to mix in drug buying and selling.
With the determination to maintain a drug-free area and quickly eradicate drug crimes when they first appear, not allowing them to become complicated hot spots, Thanh Chuong District Police have established a special project.
During the investigation and clarification process, the Task Force encountered many difficulties. Because the subjects had 3 previouscriminal record, a history of drugs and property theft, so they operate with extremely sophisticated, cunning, and reckless methods and tricks. The subjects are assigned to take on different roles: Nguyen Dau Ha contacts to buy drugs from key subjects across the border, then colludes with Tran Van Thuc to divide them into smaller parts, transport them to other areas to sell retail, and make illegal profits. Therefore, members of the Task Force must persistently follow and monitor the movements of the subjects, waiting for the right opportunity to "raise the net".
Synchronously deploying professional measures, at around 7:00 p.m. on July 27, 2023, in My Chua hamlet, Thanh Tien commune, Thanh Chuong district, Thanh Chuong district police successfully broke up a case, arresting Tran Van Thuc and Nguyen Dau Ha for illegal drug trafficking.
During the arrest, the suspect Tran Van Thuc drove his motorbike straight into the Task Force in an attempt to escape. However, with his ingenuity and courage, the police officers promptly neutralized, controlled and successfully arrested the suspect. At the scene, they seized 37.690 grams of heroin, 1.435 grams of opium resin, 2 mobile phones, 45.5 million VND, 2 motorbikes and some related evidence.
At the police station, Tran Van Thuc and Nguyen Dau Ha initially refused to admit their crimes. However, with the evidence and documents collected by the investigation agency, the subjects had to bow their heads and admit their crimes.

The successful investigation of the drug case by Thanh Chuong District Police has contributed to ensuring security and order in the district in general and Thanh My commune in particular. This is also one of the criteria contributing to bringing Thanh My commune to the advanced new rural finish line in the near future.
Currently, the Thanh Chuong District Police Investigation Agency is completing the case file to handle the subjects according to the provisions of law.
