Rice price today August 3: Slight decrease of 100-150 VND/kg
Today's rice price (August 3) in the domestic market continued to decrease slightly, down from 100 - 150 VND/kg for some types of rice; rice prices were stable.
The price of IR 504 Summer-Autumn rice today decreased slightly, ranging from 11,100 to 11,250 VND/kg, down from 100 to 150 VND/kg compared to before.
IR 504 finished rice is currently priced from 13,300 to 13,400 VND/kg, down 100 VND/kg.
Meanwhile, rice prices at retail markets are stable, unchanged compared to other types of rice. Nang Nhen rice is listed at the highest price of 30,000 VND/kg.
Other types of rice such as Jasmine, Nang Hoa, and regular rice cost from 15,000 to 21,000 VND/kg.
Prices of rice by-products, including IR 504 broken rice and dry bran, also recorded a slight downward adjustment, with broken rice prices falling to VND9,000 - 9,100/kg and dry bran prices stable at VND7,200 - 7,300/kg.
Rice prices on the market today are stable, unchanged from yesterday.

The glutinous rice market did not witness any price fluctuations today, remaining stable as yesterday.
The dry version of Long An sticky rice is listed at a price of 7,000 to 7,900 VND per kilogram, unchanged from the previous day.
The current price of fresh IR 4625 sticky rice is from 7,300 to 7,500 VND/kg.
Fresh Long An sticky rice costs from 7,400 to 7,600 VND/kg.
Fresh An Giang sticky rice is sold at 7,000 to 7,200 VND/kg, no price adjustment compared to yesterday.
In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices recorded no adjustment compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), 100% broken rice was at 448 USD/ton; 5% broken rice remained stable at 559 USD/ton; 25% broken rice was at 535 USD/ton.
