Collision with a tractor-trailer leaves two people injured or dead.
On the afternoon of August 5th, a traffic accident occurred on National Highway 48C in Quy Hop town, Quy Hop district, involving a tractor-trailer and a motorbike, resulting in two casualties.
The accident occurred at approximately 3 PM on August 5th. Security camera footage from a nearby house shows a tractor-trailer with license plate 37R – 501.97 traveling on National Highway 48C when a woman residing in Block 4, Quy Hop town, suddenly crossed the road on a motorbike. Due to the suddenness of the situation, the tractor-trailer collided head-on with the motorcyclist, then crashed into a roadside shop before finally coming to a stop.
The accident left the woman driving the motorbike seriously injured; she was rushed to the hospital but did not survive. A young child was also seriously injured in the accident.
Immediately after the incident occurred, law enforcement officers arrived at the scene to investigate and determine the cause.
