Northern pig price
In Phu Tho, the North, the price of live pigs has recorded a slight increase, reaching 66,000 VND/kg, marking the highest price in the region.
Traders in other northern provinces are buying live pigs at stable prices, ranging from VND64,000 to VND65,000 per kilogram depending on the specific region.
Pig prices in the North today are reported to range from 64,000 to 66,000 VND/kg, reflecting slight fluctuations during the day.
Pig price in Central Highlands
The Central and Central Highlands regions witnessed a decrease in live pig prices, with the decrease ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, in Quang Tri, the current purchase price of live pigs is 61,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 2,000 VND/kg compared to before.
Traders in Thua Thien Hue, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak are purchasing live pigs at prices ranging from 61,000 to 62,000 VND/kg, a slight decrease of 1,000 VND/kg.
Current live hog prices in the Central and Central Highlands provinces are trading between 61,000 and 64,000 VND/kg, reflecting market fluctuations.
Southern pig price
The live hog market in the Southern region witnessed a slight price decrease, with a decrease of about 1,000 VND/kg.
Dong Thap and Vinh Long, after adjustment, both set the price of live pigs at 62,000 VND/kg, equivalent to the price in Bac Lieu.
Other localities in the South did not record any change in live pig prices compared to the previous day.
The current purchase price of live pigs in the South is fluctuating between 62,000 VND/kg and 65,000 VND/kg.
