Rice price today August 10: Slight increase of 100 VND/kg
Today, August 10, the domestic rice price increased by 50-100 VND/kg for some types of rice. The rice trading market is stable, with quite a lot of demand.
Today's rice prices on August 10 in the Mekong Delta region increased slightly for some types of rice and paddy. The rice market in localities today generally has a lot of good rice, the warehouses are quite good, the prices increased slightly.
Specifically, in An Cu (Soc Trang), it is difficult to buy good rice, there is little good rice, and transactions are slow. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), prices are stagnant, and warehouses are buying regularly. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the supply is low, warehouses are buying slowly, and prices are fluctuating.
At retail markets, rice prices have not been adjusted for individual rice products. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND30,000/kg; Jasmine rice is VND18,000 - VND20,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice is VND20,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates around VND15,000 - VND16,000/kg; long-grain Thai fragrant rice is VND20,000 - VND21,000/kg; Huong Lai rice is VND20,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice is VND21,000/kg; common white rice is VND17,000/kg; regular Soc rice is VND18,500/kg; Thai Soc rice is VND20,000/kg; Japanese rice is VND22,000/kg.

Regarding rice, the price of rice has been adjusted compared to yesterday. Specifically, raw IR 504 Summer-Autumn rice remains at 11,400 - 11,550 VND/kg; finished IR 504 rice has increased to 13,550 - 13,650 VND/kg, an increase of 50 VND/kg.
By-products today recorded a slight decrease compared to yesterday. Currently, the price of OM 5451 broken rice remains at 9,200 - 9,400 VND/kg, down 100 VND/kg; the price of dry bran remains at 7,250 - 7,350 VND/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), 100% broken rice was at 435 USD/ton; 5% broken rice remained at 559 USD/ton; and 25% broken rice was at 524 USD/ton.
