Closing Ceremony of the 2024 Nghe An Province Self-Made Training Equipment Competition
On the afternoon of August 16th, the Nghe An Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held the closing ceremony of the 2024 Nghe An Province Self-Made Training Equipment Competition.
The 2024 Nghe An Province Self-Made Training Equipment Competition took place from August 12-16, 2024, at the Vietnam-Korea College of Technology, with the participation of 42 devices from 147 authors from 14 vocational education institutions.
The summary report of the competition stated: Compared to previous provincial-level competitions for self-made training equipment, this competition received significant investment and attention from vocational education institutions, especially secondary schools, resulting in many positive changes in quality and diversity of equipment types. Most of the submitted equipment met the requirements for knowledge and skills in the training programs, training modules, and output standards, and were effectively applied in teaching, suitable for practical conditions and incorporating modern technologies such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and semiconductor technology.
Some equipment utilizes readily available materials, combined with the creativity of teachers who have applied scientific and technological advancements to the design and production of training equipment. This leads to high feasibility in replicating the results of self-made equipment, improving the quality and applicability of the equipment; increasing the efficiency of use as well as the economic efficiency of investing in training equipment at vocational education institutions.
The competition organizers selected and recommended to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for commendation 3 collectives and 16 authors/groups of authors for 16 devices that won first, second, and third prizes; the Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs commended 18 authors/groups of authors for 18 devices that won consolation prizes at the competition.
Based on the competition results, the Organizing Committee and the Judging Panel have selected 16 devices to participate in the 8th National Self-Made Training Equipment Competition in 2025 in Hai Phong City.
