TH true MILK: “Awakening and spreading national pride”

Differences in production and business models

As part of their research, survey, and information-gathering activities in Nghe An province, members of the training course on updating knowledge and skills for planning officials of the 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam visited the high-tech dairy farming and milk processing project of TH Group in Nghia Dan, a western district of Nghe An province.

“Only by directly observing, witnessing, and exchanging ideas with each staff member in every department of TH true MILK did I realize the difference in the business model of a private enterprise.” Mr. Duong Quoc Huy, Deputy Chief Inspector of the Government and a member of the training course, shared his feelings after talking with experts on breeding, caring for, and managing a herd of nearly 70,000 dairy cows at TH Group's dairy farm No. 3.

The application of world-leading technologies in TH's fields, farms, and factories left a strong impression on the visiting delegation, showcasing a model of high-tech agriculture and a circular economy. TH farms utilize state-of-the-art Afifarm-Israel technology for herd management; veterinary management processes from New Zealand; water treatment processes and equipment from the Netherlands; wastewater and waste treatment processes and equipment from Japan, Israel, and the Netherlands; and a closed-loop automated milking system. All management activities and production data from the factories and farms are digitized, utilizing artificial intelligence and cloud computing.

At the Fresh Milk Processing Plant, the Pure Water and Herbal Fruit Factory in Nui Tien, the delegation surveyed and toured the milk processing and beverage production lines imported from advanced countries, featuring world-leading sterilization and aseptic filling technologies, ensuring international product quality.

Mr. Do Manh Hien, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee and a member of the 15th National Assembly, shared that during the research and development of agricultural development orientations for Hai Phong, he visited and learned from many models of agricultural production and business organization in Vietnam and around the world. When visiting the TH true MILK farm complex of the TH Group in Nghe An, he remarked, "The scale and level of organization and operation in the world are only this good. Many countries even have to learn from TH's experience and methods of organizing large-scale farming and livestock raising while ensuring ecological balance and practicing greenhouse gas emission reduction in agricultural production."

In addition to its success in closed-loop high-tech agricultural production, TH Group has also achieved significant results in integrating farmers in project areas into a large-scale production chain. TH Group guides and collaborates with farmers to grow corn and grass according to clean farming standards, guaranteeing product purchase. Each year, TH Group buys over 300 billion VND worth of raw materials from nearly 20,000 farmers in the project area, contributing to an increase in agricultural income in Nghia Dan district in particular, and TH Group's project areas in general, by 1.2 to 1.5 times compared to before.

“In agriculture, a 1.5-fold increase in income is very difficult, but TH and the farmers have achieved it. This achievement is extremely valuable for the agricultural sector and the economy of Nghe An province,” - Deputy Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu, emphasized the significance of the project for the socio-economic life of the locality.

Sharing the same viewpoint as the leaders of Nghe An province, Mr. Do Manh Hien - a member of the training course - shared: "Before TH Group invested in and implemented the project, this area was truly a poor and difficult part of Nghe An. But today, everyone who comes here is amazed by the socio-economic development of the people of Nghia Dan. The people have truly become wealthy."

At key locations within the TH true MILK green, closed-loop, circular production chain, such as the Dong Hieu high-tech agricultural field; dairy farm No. 3 and the automated milking line; the fresh milk factory; the Nui Tien pure water, herbal and fruit juice factory; and the closed-loop waste and wastewater treatment area, the training participants all felt "the creativity, professional work style, and high level of expertise of domestic and international experts. The optimistic spirit and desire to contribute of the TH people made a very strong impression on us."

Mr. Duong Quoc Huy, one of the participants in the training course, specifically described his impression as "a feeling of pride in a Vietnamese enterprise that produces genuine goods, conducts genuine business, and creates products with real value for life."

According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac - Standing Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Head of the working group, "TH's expansion of its model, including its spirit of innovation, service, and experience in organizing agricultural production according to the circular economy model on a large scale to localities and internationally, especially spreading the determination and desire of the Group's leader to a large number of Vietnamese people, is very commendable." He believes that once the Vietnamese business community has the awareness and capacity to implement economic projects systematically and effectively, it will contribute to raising the country's production capacity and competitiveness.

Not only does TH Group create significant economic value, promote the development of Vietnam's dairy industry, and enhance socio-economic growth in localities with a sustainable development orientation and core value of "For true happiness," but it also contributes to awakening and spreading national pride to every worker and farmer in its production chain.
