Vietnamese enterprises are capable of processing pepper with a capacity of up to 140,000 tons per year, creating opportunities for the development of this industry.

VPSA is aiming to stabilize pepper growing areas and improve product quality. The goal is to diversify pepper processed products and increase added value.

VPSA recommends that farmers apply international standards, especially those on chemical residues. Farmers are also guided to implement cultivation, pest control, and product preservation procedures appropriate to local climatic conditions.
