According to the male artist, the most difficult and challenging scene for him was the fight on the boat with the character Cu Ly (Phuoc Loc). Because he thought that Mr. Hai "stole his rice bowl", Cu Ly pushed him into the river and used the propeller to scare him.

Quyen Linh said the scene was performed without any protective gear to ensure the most realistic performance on screen.

Actor Phuoc Loc had no experience in operating a propeller so he was given 2 days of practice to get used to it. However, on the day of filming, the water level in the island changed, causing difficulties for the whole crew.

"I joked that I would entrust my life to my co-star. Everyone was worried because if there was a small mistake, the consequences would be unpredictable," Quyen Linh shared.

In addition, Quyen Linh also remembers the scene of him crying in the middle of a salt field under the pouring rain. Meritorious Artist - Director Vu Thanh Vinh said that the scene was only two minutes long but encountered many obstacles, making him frustrated and wanting to give up.

Because the film was filmed on an island, transporting water tanks to create rain effects was not easy. Fortunately, the crew received support from the local government for additional equipment to store water. The film crew's prop team also took a day to prepare for the difficult scene.

“Not letting down the crew, Quyen Linh had moments of sublimation. He expressed his emotions and actions based on his own feelings so that when the film was on, the audience would see the pain of the salt farmers,” the director shared.

MoviesTwo Saltsmarks the return to the big screen of artist Quyen Linh after 20 years sinceWhen men get pregnant2004.

The actor plays the role of Mr. Hai, a salt worker in Thieng Lieng Island (HCMC). For many years, he lived as a single father, struggling to raise and care for his daughter until she grew up.
