On the morning of August 22, the final round of the English Challenge season 7, organized by Nghe An Radio and Television in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training and related departments and agencies, took place with the presence of 4 excellent students from Vinh city and Hoang Mai town.

The final match was also broadcast live at Quynh Thien A Primary School - Hoang Mai town.

English Challenge season 7 was launched in September 2023 with the participation of nearly 700 students from primary schools in Nghe An province and neighboring provinces.

After the preliminary round, 36 contestants have officially registered for this exciting English-language television show.

After the weekly and quarterly rounds, 4 excellent candidates were selected for the yearly final round. They are Vo Quynh Nhi, Class 5A, Quynh Thien A Primary School, Hoang Mai town. The remaining 3 candidates are all from Vinh city, they are Thai Ba Vinh, Class 4A, Truong Thi Primary School; Le Nam Phong, Class 5H, Hung Binh Primary School and Nguyen Do Bao Nguyen, Class 5H, Le Mao Primary School.

With the theme Who am I?, this year's final round was exciting with 4 rounds: Challenge (quickly answering questions), WORD SCAPE (filling in the missing characters), Speed ​​(on-stage behavior), Champion (a set of knowledge questions).

At the end of the contest, Thai Ba Vinh (Truong Thi Primary School, Vinh City) won first prize with 630 points. He was also the youngest contestant in the contest.

Second prize of the contest went to Nguyen Do Bao Nguyen, Le Mao Primary School with 605 points.

The two third prizes of the contest were Vo Quynh Nhi, class 5A, Quynh Thien A Primary School with 440 points and Le Nam Phong, class 5H, Hung Binh Primary School with 495 points.

The English Challenge is a meaningful English playground on television for primary school students. Thereby, it brings many experiences, useful knowledge, joy and excitement to students, helping them improve their foreign language skills as well as general knowledge.

Besides, this playground is expected to promote the movement of learning English and self-studying English for students.
