Donated 1,240 energy-saving stoves to people in Quy Chau and Que Phong
On August 22-23, the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with the Quy Chau and Que Phong District Red Cross Society to donate 1,240 fuel-saving stoves to poor households in the area.
This time, 640 fuel-saving stoves were given to poor households in Quy Chau district and 600 stoves to disadvantaged households in Que Phong district.
Through the donation of stoves, the Red Cross and the Sustainable Investment Promotion and Development Joint Stock Company (SIPCO) also organized community-based environmental protection communication in the localities receiving the stoves.
The fuel-saving stove donation program, sponsored by the Sustainable Investment Promotion and Development Joint Stock Company (SIPCO), contributes to significantly reducing emissions to protect the environment and save more fuel than conventional stoves.
