Pig price in the North
In the North, the price of live pigs is currently stable, ranging from 64,000 to 67,000 VND/kg.
In Hanoi, the price of live pigs is the highest in the region, reaching 67,000 VND/kg.
Other provinces in the North also maintained unchanged purchase prices for live pigs.
Pig price in Central Highlands region
Pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands provinces are currently stable, unchanged, at prices ranging from 62,000 to 65,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, in Quang Tri, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak and Ninh Thuan, the price of live pigs is 62,000 VND/kg, the lowest price in the region.
Traders in other provinces still buy live pigs at the same price as yesterday.
Pig price in the Southern region
The price of live pigs in the South has not changed much, ranging from 61,000 to 65,000 VND/kg.
Ben Tre is the place with the lowest price for live pigs, at 61,000 VND/kg.
On the contrary, Vung Tau has the highest purchase price, at 65,000 VND/kg.
Other localities in the South are having stable pig purchase prices.
On the morning of August 28, a training course on disease prevention in pig farming was held in Vu Thu district, Thai Binh for 30 typical pig farming households.
During the half-day, farmers learned how to practice biosecurity, disease prevention regulations, and how to monitor and report disease cases.
They are also instructed on how to recognize and deal with dangerous infectious diseases such as African Swine Fever and others.
Finally, farmers discussed the use of new vaccines to prevent disease in pigs, following the instructions of the authorities.
