Nghe An launched the emulation movement "Month of Encouragement of Learning" and awarded more than 100 gifts to poor students.

The emulation movement of Nghe An Learning Promotion Month was launched from August 19 to October 2, 2024.

Thereby, aiming to continue raising awareness of all levels, sectors, and Associations about the importance of promoting learning, promoting talents, and building a learning society. Continuously improving the comprehensive quality and depth of emulation movements to build families, clans, communities, learning units, and "Learning Citizens".

Through the activities of "Nghe An Learning Promotion Month" to encourage and reward those with high achievements in activities, help students, workers, and farmers who have difficulties in studying; launch and build a learning promotion fund to support lifelong learning.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education Nguyen Huy Cuong reviewed the outstanding results in the work of promoting education. Accordingly, in the past school year, accompanying the education sector, emulation movements to promote education, encourage talents, and build a learning society such as: "Tet for Promotion of Education", "Month for Promotion of Education", "Opening the first pen of spring", "Message for studying", "Developing pigs for promotion of education", "Gardens, fish ponds, flocks of chickens for promotion of education" continued to be maintained, promoting good effects on many aspects of activities of the Association for Promotion of Education at all levels.

Especially every year on the occasion of "Learning Promotion Month", thousands of poor students in the province are awarded scholarships, helping them overcome difficulties to study and practice well; contributing significantly to the results of the school year.

The launching ceremony of the 22nd Nghe An Learning Promotion Month emulation movement held at the beginning of the new school year is of great significance. This is a practical activity to celebrate Vietnam Learning Promotion Day and welcome the new school year 2024-2025.

This is also an annual activity, widely responded to by all levels of the Association for Promotion of Education and people from all walks of life, social organizations, and businesses, bringing about many good results and having a strong influence throughout the province.

At the ceremony, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education hoped that through the launch of the emulation movement "Month of Promotion of Education", localities, relevant departments and branches need to continue to thoroughly grasp, deploy, propagate and organize the implementation of the Party and State's policies and guidelines on promoting education, promoting talents, and building a learning society.

On the part of the Association at all levels, actively promote the contents of the emulation movement "Nghe An Study Promotion Month" among cadres, members and people; Coordinate with the education sector and relevant agencies to well organize the mobilization of the entire population to send children to school, especially helping and supporting children in difficult and disadvantaged circumstances. Mobilize students who dropped out of school last year to return to school to continue studying.

In addition, it is necessary to encourage students to participate in vocational training and supplementary education at junior high school and high school. Promote activities to support formal education and continuing education; Coordinate the organization and implementation of adult learning at community learning centers and other appropriate forms of learning, contributing to improving the effectiveness of community learning centers.

In addition, during the Learning Promotion Month, it is necessary to continue to mobilize sponsors, businesses, and children from the homeland to contribute to the Learning Promotion Fund at all levels of the Association, agencies, units, clans, and hometown associations. At the same time, continue to develop traditional learning promotion fund-raising models such as: piggy banks, plastic pigs for learning promotion, chicken flocks, gardens, fish ponds for learning promotion, etc.

Before the new school year, it is necessary to organize awards for students with good academic results, self-cultivation and training during the school year; pay attention to students in difficult circumstances, children of families with preferential policies; children in remote areas... to help and encourage them to go to school to study and train to make progress.

At the launching ceremony of the emulation movement "Nghe An Learning Promotion Month, Nghe An Learning Promotion Fund; Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Corporation presented 20 bicycles and 40 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND to students in Tuong Duong district with difficult circumstances "Helping you go to school" on the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2024 - 2025.

Tuong Duong District People's Committee also presented 55 gifts to poor students who overcame difficulties to study well in the area, each gift worth 300,000 VND.

Within the framework of the program, in the afternoon of the same day, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education presented 22 bicycles to students of Dinh Son Secondary School (Anh Son district).
