To ensure the safe operation of water discharge from Ban Coc Hydropower Reservoir in accordance with the approved single-reservoir procedure and the Inter-reservoir procedure on the Ca River basin, Ban Coc Hydropower Plant - Que Phong Hydropower Joint Stock Company announces the expected plan for operating and regulating Ban Coc Hydropower Reservoir:
Estimated discharge time:22:30 September 6, 2024.
Discharge flow:Total discharge from 11.16m3/s - 300m3/s (Including discharge flow through the valve gate, flow through the spillway and power generation flow through the generators) and may vary depending on the level of water flow to the lake.
Discharge end time:When the lake water level is not higher than the average flood level at elevation 376m and is unlikely to rise again.

The notice stated: At 6:42 p.m. on September 6, 2024, the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention - Search and Rescue and Civil Defense received Notice No. 06 dated September 6 from the Vietnam - Laos Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, regarding the operation of the Nam Giai Hydropower Reservoir flood discharge project.
To ensure the safe operation and regulation of water at Nam Giai Hydropower Reservoir in accordance with the procedures approved by the Provincial People's Committee and in accordance with the hydrological situation at the project, Viet - Lao Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company plans to operate and regulate Nam Giai Hydropower Reservoir as follows:
Estimated time of regulatory operation:Starting from 23:30 on September 6, 2024.
Expected discharge:From 13.55 m3/s to 300 m3/s (including the discharge flow through the piano spillway, the flow through the sand discharge gate and the generation flow through the generators) and may vary depending on the water flow to the lake.
Discharge end time:When the lake water level is not higher than the average flood level at elevation 436m and is unlikely to rise again.
